As noted before, Daniel Garcia’s contract with AEW is currently set to expire this Fall.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that while AEW CEO Tony Khan seemed to indicate that Garcia has yet to sign a new contract with the company following his surprise return at All In 2024, those within WWE are currently under the belief that Garcia will be staying.
Meltzer reported that several people close to Garcia also currently expect him to stay in AEW. Those same people reportedly also confirmed that he had considered the possibility of going to WWE after they had tried to recruit him.
Fightful Select reported that their sources also stated that the current belief within AEW is that Garcia will be staying in the company.
