The city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin reportedly is currently in the process of making a bid to host next year’s WWE Money in the Bank event, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal.
Logan Hanson reported that Sports Milwaukee tourism group is currently putting together a bid to WWE for the city to be the potential host of next year’s Money in the Bank event.
Hanson reported that if the city is successful with their bid, the current plan is for the event to be held at the Fiserv Forum, which is the home of NBA team Milwaukee Bucks.
In an interview with the outlet, Sports Milwaukee Director Marissa Werner stated that she currently hopes that bringing a Money in the Bank event to the city would open the door to Milwaukee be chosen to host a future SummerSlam or Royal Rumble event.
“The hope is this would open the door for a SummerSlam or Royal Rumble.”
Milwaukee last hosted a WWE PLE event in 2017 for Fastlane 2017.
