WWE reportedly is currently not planning for the Hell in a Cell match between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk to be the main event for their Bad Blood 2024 event, which takes place on October 5th at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that WWE officials current plans is for the tag team match of Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu) to main event Bad Blood 2024.
It was also reported that rumors of the Hell in a Cell match main eventing Bad Blood 2024 originated following a recent article shared by USA Network that claimed McIntyre and Punk’s match would headline the event.
In an interesting note, Fightful referred to Rhodes and Reigns’ team as “Rhodesman Reigns” but it is currently not known if that will be the official team name that will be mentioned on television for them.
