Wednesday’s AEW Fright Night Dynamite show in Cleveland, Ohio featured former WWE talent Bobby Lashley making his surprise official debut in AEW.
Following Swerve Strickland’s victory over Shelton Benjamin in the main event of the show, Strickland’s victory celebration was cut short by Lashley’s music playing and him coming out for his surprise debut.
Lashley made his way out and embraced MVP at ringside before entering the ring and confronting Strickland. This led to Benjamin distracting Strickland resulting in Lashley laying out Strickland with a clothesline. Lashley, Benjamin, and MVP proceeded to attack Strickland and Prince Nana as AEW officials and security ran out attempting to break it up to no avail. All three then stood together in the ring as MVP grabbed a microphone and stated “guess who’s back in business” as the show went to a close.
