WWE Executive Director Bruce Prichard and WWE producer Michael Hayes reportedly are currently on leave of absences from WWE, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Dave Meltzer reported in a special preview edition for this week’s issue that his sources stated that both Prichard and Hayes are currently on leave from WWE. Meltzer reported that those spoken to stated that Prichard and Hayes are both currently expected to be out for an “indefinite” period of time but WWE officials currently expect both to return to the company.
In regards to Prichard, Meltzer reported that Prichard’s absence is due to him currently dealing with a family-related emergency.
In regards to Hayes, Meltzer reported that Hayes’s absence is due to him currently dealing with personal-related issues.
Meltzer also reported that despite Prichard and Hayes’ leave of absences taking place at the same time, those spoken to within WWE stated that there is no actual connection between the two. Those spoken to within the company also denied recent online rumors of this being a situation of the “old guard” being moved out of the company and confirmed that both will be returning to the company.
