As noted before, “Speedball” Mike Bailey’s contract with TNA Wrestling is currently believed to expire at the end of this year.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Bailey’s contract with TNA had officially expired on November 1st and he has left the company.
Johnson reported that Bailey did not appear at TNA’s recent set of Impact! tapings this past weekend in Fayetteville, North Carolina and instead was working in indie events in Washington state during that period.
Johnson also reported that Bailey had filed a trademark for his current ring name on November 8th for wrestling and merchandise-related purposes to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Fightful Select reported that their sources also confirmed that Bailey’s contract with TNA had expires and has left the company. It was reported that Bailey’s profile had been removed from TNA’s roster page earlier this week.
Bailey reported was seen saying his goodbyes backstage at TNA’s Impact tapings this past October in Detroit, Michigan. Bailey reportedly have a heartfelt thank you to the people in TNA’s locker room for his farewell.
It was reported that Bailey is currently expected to receive interest from multiple promotions and is well liked in the industry. It was also reported that people within WWE and AEW will be pushing to get Bailey signed to their respective companies.
Prior to his departure, Bailey had been with TNA since October of 2021.
