TNA Wresting ring announcer Jade Chung reportedly will be departing from the company, according to PWInsider.
Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Chung had informed TNA officials this past weekend that she will not be signing a new contract and will be leaving the company once her contract expires. Johnson reported that Chung’s contract is currently believed to be set to expire at the end of this year.
Johnson reported that prior to her announcement, TNA officials had approached Chung about a new potential contract.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that Chung was seen saying her farewell to many within the company at this past Saturday’s Impact! tapings in Atlanta, Georgia.
Besides Chung, Rhino also gave his farewells at the tapings due to that being his last night with the company as well.
Chung had been TNA’s ring announcer since December of 2023. Chung’s husband Josh Alexander’s contract with TNA is currently set to expire in February of 2025 and he is currently expected to test the free agent market. Those spoken to within TNA reportedly stated that Chung’s departure is a sign that Alexander will also be leaving the company as well.
