Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured former AEW talent Ricky Starks making his official debut appearance in WWE.
During the show, the ring crew were seen putting together the stage for the main event Steel Cage match between Ridge Holland and Tony D’Angelo. As NXT commentator Vic Joseph was starting to run down the card for Vengeance Day 2025, Starks voice was suddenly heard.
Starks came out in the crowd and gave a promo talking about if NXT is the hottest brand, then it needs the hottest free agent. Starks stated that he is here to turn this place around and everyone has been asking when will the revolution be televised again. Starks stated that he is here.

Starks was released by AEW on Monday and was free to sign elsewhere after not being given a non-compete clause for the terms of his release.
