As noted before, Josh Alexander’s contract with TNA Wrestling is set to expire on Friday, February 14th and he is expected to enter free agency. Alexander recently hired the services of notable sports agent Barry Bloom to represent him for his upcoming new contract talks negotiations.
Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that Alexander’s contract with TNA has officially expired as of today.
In regards to the next destination for Alexander’s career, it was reported that those within AEW, close to Alexander, and within the wrestling industry currently expect that Alexander will be heading to AEW and signing an official contract with the company, if he has not already.
Those spoken to within WWE reportedly stated that Alexander is not signed with them but WWE officials had interest in using him last year as part of their current partnership with TNA.
It was reported that it is currently not known if a deal between Alexander and AEW has been officially signed yet but he is currently expected to join the company.
