As noted before, “Speedball” Mike Bailey’s contract with TNA Wrestling officially expired this past January and had signed a new contract with AEW. Bailey is currently believed to be in the process of securing a new work visa with AEW for the reason for his delayed official debut in the company.
Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured AEW airing a debut vignette narrated by Bailey’s wife Veda Scott and NJPW commentator Walker Stewart hyping up his upcoming arrival in the company.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated ghat Bailey had signed a multi-year contract with AEW.
It was reported that even though Bailey’s contract with TNA was active through December 31, 2024 and he had finished up with the company this past October, he had worked with an agent for talks with AEW and WWE due to both companies had showed interest in him.
It was also reported that those spoken to confirmed that Bailey is currently in the process of getting a new work visa approved for the reason for his debut in AEW being delayed.
