WWE announced four new matches and one new segment for the card of tonight’s WWE SmackDown show at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
In regards to the new matches, this was announced to all be for a new #1 Contender tournament for the WWE United States Championship.
These new matches are:
- WWE United States Championship #1 Contender Tournament First Round match – LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar
- WWE United States Championship #1 Contender Tournament First Round match – Carmelo Hayes vs. Braun Strowman
- WWE United States Championship #1 Contender Tournament First Round match – Andrade vs. Solo Sikoa
- WWE United States Championship #1 Contender Tournament Finals Triple Threat match – TBD vs. TBD vs. TBD

In regards to the new segment, this was announced to be current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes making an appearance.
