This past March’s Elimination Chamber 2025 event in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and this past weekend’s WrestleMania 41 event in Las Vegas, Nevada were notable for rapper Travis Scott getting physical with Cody Rhodes.
Bodyslam.net’s Cory Hays reported that his sources stated that WWE officials recently made a pitch for John Cena and Scott to work a tag team match together at some point this year. Hays reported that nothing concrete for plans have been decided upon as of Thursday.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources confirmed that WWE officials are currently working on plans for Scott’s potential in-ring debut in the company.
Meltzer reported that WWE officials are currently considering for Cena and Scott to face off against Cody Rhodes and Bad Bunny in a potential tag team match. Meltzer also reported that Rhodes has yet to be confirmed as Bad Bunny’s tag partner but those spoken to stated that if the idea is done, then they would need a wrestler on the level of Cena for the face team.
