Stephanie Vaquer & Jordynne Grace Expected to Get Main Roster Call-ups Soon
As noted before, this past Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured Jacy Jayne defeating Stephanie Vaquer to become the new NXT Women’s Champion. Jayne’s title victory quickly led to online speculation and rumors of Vaquer being called up soon to WWE’s main roster for the reason for the sudden title change.
Bodyslam.net’s Cory Hays reported that his sources stated that both Vaquer and Jordynne Grace are currently expected to be getting called up to WWE’s main roster soon.
Hays reported that Vaquer is currently expected to be called up to the RAW brand and Grace is currently expected to be called up to the SmackDown brand for their main roster destinations.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources confirmed that Vaquer is currently expected to be heading to the main roster very soon. Those spoken to reportedly stated that WWE officials current plan is for Vaquer to be called up after their Worlds Collide 2025 event on June 7th.
Goldberg Comments on His Son Gage Will Walk Him Out for His Retirement Match
As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg will be having a retirement match in WWE for his wrestling career that is currently planned to take place at the July 12th WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show in Atlanta, Georgia.
A recent episode of The Claw with Ross & Marshall Von Erich podcast featured Goldberg as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Goldberg’s thoughts about his son Gage will walk him out for his retirement match.
“Just a little tease, there is one thing I can say about my match is that I will be proudly led out by my son.”
Goldberg also gave his thoughts about how his dream goal was for his retirement match to take place in Israel.
“I’ll do anything for my faith. Truth be told, my dream was to have my retirement match in Israel. Quite obviously, because of the surroundings right now and over the past five years, it just hasn’t been the right place to do it. I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you that I was sorely disappointed that I couldn’t do something in Israel, but retired doesn’t mean dead.
I would be honored to go out there at some point, I really would. Never say never, but we’ve been trying to do it for the past number of years and it didn’t work out. Fingers crossed, that’s all you can do.”

In a recent interview with the Casual Conversations with The Classic podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley denied recent online rumors of him holding a WWE Ambassador role nor being signed to one and confirmed that he is under a WWE Legends deal. Foley stated “I don’t have an ambassador job that pays me $2.88 million, as has been reported. I had an ambassador job for two years that paid me literally one-fourteenth of that, but it’s been rumored that I have this luxurious job, and I’m like, I don’t think I’d be out on the road 200 days a year if I was making $2.88 million a year to be an ambassador. If somebody else has that type of job, good on them, but I just want to put out, like, I love my relationship with WWE, right? I did an appearance for them at Royal Rumble, a signing. I’m doing an appearance for them at.. what the new version of Axxess is, and I have a Legends deal that, because WWE has seen fit to promote me as somebody of importance, is better than it was 20 years ago, which is crazy. So I’m really grateful for that relationship, but I don’t receive $2.88 million. I receive $0 because I’m not an ambassador. In some ways, I always will be. Anywhere I walk, I’m kind of a walking billboard for WWE, but I just want to clear that up as an exclusive. I do not have any ambassador contract, let alone an ambassador contract for $2.88 million a year.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
