PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that the recent rumors of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was hospitalized with heart failure is not true.
This rumor originated from comments made by Bubba the Love Sponge earlier today on his radio show claiming that he was told that Hogan was recently hospitalized due to heart failure issues.
Johnson reported that those spoken to close to Hogan stated that Hogan has been hospitalized over the last several days but the reason is not due to a heart issue. Those spoken to reportedly stated that Hogan had been dealing with some “adverse reactions” after undergoing neck surgery a few weeks ago. Johnson reported that these “adverse reactions” are not related to his heart but was the cause for his recent hospitalization.
Johnson also reported that Hogan is currently expected to be released from the hospital and will go home today.
TMZ reported that a representative of Hogan had confirmed that Hogan was hospitalized for “lingering neck and back issues.” This same representative reportedly described this issue as “more of the same ailments he’s had for years” and stated that Hogan is not near death. This same representative reportedly also stated that Hogan has been moving around since the hospital trip.
