Mayu Iwatani Suffered Broken Rib Injury
Marigold talent Mayu Iwatani announced on Instagram that she recently suffered a broken rib injury and went to the hospital for treatment following intense pain.

She ended up going to the hospital as the pain was too intense.

CMLL recently announced that this year’s CMLL x RevPro Fantasticamania UK will be taking place on October 18th in Wolverhampton, England. It was announced that there will be two Fantasticamania UK events taking place that night.
RevPro recently announced that Mercedes Mone, BUSHI, and Tetsuya Naito will be making an appearance for the company at their Summer Sizzler 2025 event on July 25th in Wolverhampton.
Game Changer Wrestling recently announced that they had pulled Miyu Yamashita from this past Sunday’s Take A Picture event in Kansas City, Missouri due to the Missouri Athletic Commission refused to licensee Yamashita for the event due to her not having a Social Security number. It was also stated that Yamashita had wrestled in the state several times before with no issue and she has all relevant and required documents and she also has a valid work visa.
As noted before, Netflix has been working on a new biopic based on former MMA fighter and WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey since May of 2024. Deadline reported that Euphoria director Augustine Frizzell recently joined the project as its director. Those spoken to involved with the project reportedly stated that they were steadfast on wanting a woman directing this upcoming new film.
Deadline reported that their sources stated that former WWE wrestler Dave Bautista is currently rumored to have an offer to join the cast of the upcoming Road House sequel film. It was reported that talks between the two sides have not begun regarding a potential deal nor is it currently known what role he could play in the film.
Joey Janela recently announced that Masha Slamovich and Megan Bayne will be making an appearance for his promoted Cannonballfest event on September 14th in New Providence, New Jersey. This upcoming event will be a benefit show for indies wrestler Jeff Cannonball to help financially support his battle with ALS.
Big Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced that Daisuke Sekimoto will be departing the company and working as a free lancer for his wrestling career at the end of this month.
Major League Wrestling recently announced that former WWE talent Shotzi Blackheart will be making her official debut for the company at their Summer of the Beasts 2025 event on June 26th in New York City, New York.
In a recent interview with the New York Post, former WWE talent Shotzi Blackheart gave her thoughts about her upcoming official debut in MLW and her goal of wanting to become the face of MLW. Blackheart stated “I have just huge motivation right now and just huge balls that I want to bring everywhere I go. I think with my fire to change and grow and their fire to change and grow, we just work hand in hand. I just floated at WWE and never really got the chance to be the face of the company, like really hold the ball. I was never given it. I want to go in with so much passion. I want to lead the charge. I want to prove to the world that I can be the face of the company. I can go out there and have really awesome promos and have really awesome matches and be a leader, and I want to do that in MLW.” Blackheart also gave her thoughts about how MLW was a promotion she always wanted to work for during her wrestling career. Blackheart stated “It’s someplace that I’ve wanted to be for my entire wrestling career. Now that I’m finally here, I’m not going to hold back.“
