Paul Levesque Comments on Being Proud of CM Punk for His Apology to Saudi Arabia

As noted before, CM Punk issued an apology for past negative comments he made about Saudi Arabia and WWE holding events in the country at Friday’s WWE Night of Champions 2025 Kickoff event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Following Saturday’s WWE Night of Champions 2025 event, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque was one of the guests for the post-show. One of the topics discussed included Levesque’s thoughts about him being proud of CM Punk for his apology and thanked Saudi General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Al-Sheikh for today’s event.

“If you’d have told me 10 years ago that CM Punk would be here in Saudi for the WWE, I would have thought you’re out of your mind.
But people grow, people change, people evolve, and they learn, and they learn a lot in life.

And I think not only was I privileged to watch them this week as they prepared for this fight, I was privileged to watch two men grow as people, especially CM Punk.

I was privileged to watch him grow as a human being, to step out here and apologize to the people of Saudi, to just cherish where he is at in life and his career and the things he gets to do and the opportunities that he has. And I was incredibly proud of him.”

Liv Morgan Underwent Shoulder Surgery

As noted before, Liv Morgan has been out of action for WWE since earlier this month due to a dislocated shoulder injury.

Sports physical therapist Kevin Wilk provided an update earlier today on Instagram revealing that Morgan had recently underwent surgery and stated that he is helping with her rehab from injury.

Sheamus vs. Rusev Announced for June 30th WWE RAW Show

During Saturday’s Night of Champions 2025 event, WWE announced one new match announced for the card of next week’s show on June 30th at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This new match announced was a singles match of Sheamus vs. Rusev.

Next week’s show will be airing at an earlier than usual start time of 6PM EST.

Current card for June 30th WWE RAW show:
