WWE officials reportedly currently have scheduled two new matches for the card of their Evolution 2 event on July 13th at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, according to BodySlam.net.
Cory Hays reported that his sources stated that WWE officials currently have scheduled for Raquel Rodriguez to defend her WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at the event. Hays reported that Roxanne Perez would be filling in for an injured Liv Morgan for this title match. The potential opponents for this match was not given.
Hays also reported that WWE officials also currently have scheduled for a Women’s Battle Royal match to take place at this event. This match reportedly would feature the winner earning a title at WWE’s Clash in Paris 2025 event this August in Nanterre, France.
In a follow-up report, Hays reported that those spoken to stated that WWE officials are also currently working on plans for a WWE Women’s World Championship match between Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY at Evolution 2.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources stated that WWE officials recently have had creative pitches for WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus to potentially compete at their Evolution 2 event. Sapp reported that those spoken to stated that these pitches specifically were for a potential match between Stratus and Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at the event.
