Britt Baker has been absent from AEW since this past November.
Baker posted a cryptic message on Tuesday on Instagram implying she currently feels undervalued in AEW and is ready to leave the company.

Bodyslam.net reported that their sources confirmed that Baker is currently actively seeking to part ways with AEW. It was reported that this would align with what fans have been speculating based on her recent social media activity.
It was reported that AEW officials isn’t currently looking to release Baker from her contract. The reason reportedly is due to the internal belief that they do not want any upcoming WWE shows in her hometown of Pittsburgh to be announced and also want the upcoming Evolution 2 event to pass before letting anything move forward.
In regards to Baker, it was reported that those spoken to stated that Baker currently feels that there is nothing left keeping her in AEW and implying to burned bridges and a sense that the environment within AEW has changed around her. It was also reported that the door to Baker’s future in AEW appears closer to being shut than ever before.
Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources spoken to “vehemently denied” the rumors and reports of Baker currently actively trying to leave AEW.
Those spoken to familiar with Baker’s situation reportedly stated that the idea of Baker wanting out of AEW or even communicating that to AEW was “news to them” and they had never heard anything resembling that.
Sapp reported that Baker still has well over a year left on her current contract with AEW and with the possibility of injury time being added, there is a chance she could still be under contract into 2027.
