Stephanie McMahon, Vickie Guerrero, Maryse, Torrie Wilson, Alundra Blayze & More Makes Appearance at Evolution 2

Sunday’s WWE Evolution 2 event at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia featured former WWE co-CEO Stephanie McMahon, NXT GM Ava, Vickie Guerrero, Jazz, Maryse, Melina, Leilani Kai, and WWE Hall of Famers Mark Henry, Ivory, Jacqueline, Torrie Wilson, Molly Holly, Alundra Blayze making an appearance.

During the start of the show, Joe Tessitore was seen on the stage and talked about tonight’s event and introduced McMahon as his co-host for the show.

Prior to the start of the NXT Women’s Championship match between Jordynne Grace and Jacy Jayne, NXT GM Ava, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, and Vickie Guerrero were shown at ringside in the crowd.

Prior to the start of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-way match, Jazz, Maryse, and WWE Hall of Famers Ivory and Jacqueline were shown at ringside in the crowd.

Prior to the start of the WWE Women’s Championship match between Trish Stratus and Tiffany Stratton, Melina and WWE Hall of Famers Torrie Wilson and Molly Holly were shown at ringside in the crowd.

Prior to the start of the No Holds Barred match between Jade Cargill and Naomi, Leilani Kai and WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze were shown at ringside in the crowd.

Blake Monroe Turns Heel on Jordynne Grace

Sunday’s WWE Evolution 2 event also featured Blake Monroe turning heel and attacked Jordynne Grace.

Near the end of the NXT Women’s Championship match between Grace and Jacy Jayne, Fatal Influence’s Jazmyn Nyx got on the apron to distract the referee and Fallon Henley grabbed the NXT Women’s title belt and threw it into the ring. This led to Monroe laying out Henley with a headbutt at ringside. Jayne the grabbed the belt and attempted to use it on Grace only for the referee to grab it and a tug-o-war broke out leading to Grace rolling up Jayne for the near fall and the belt falling out of the ring. Nyx then grabbed the belt only to be quickly laid out by Monroe who grabbed it and held onto it. Henley managed to recover enough to disctract the referee leading to Jayne whipping Grace into the ropes and Monroe striking her in the back with the title. Jayne followed by hitting her finisher for the pinfall victory.

Following the match, Monroe went into the ring and handed the belt to Jayne who looked on confused. Monroe gave a smile over what she did and left the ring as a bloodied Grace looked on angry at Monroe.

Stephanie Vaquer Wins Women’s Battle Royal Match for Shot at Women’s Title at Clash in Paris

Sunday’s WWE Evolution 2 event also featured Stephanie Vaquer winning the Women’s Battle Royal match.

The competitors in this match were Vaquer, Nikki Bella, Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, Alba Fyre, Natalya, Maxxine Dupri, Jaida Parker, Lash Legend, Lola Vice, Zelina Vega, Kelani Jordan, Tatum Paxley, Izzi Dame, B-Fab, Michin, Ivy Nile, Candice LeRae, Nia Jax, and Giulia.

As a result of her victory, Vaquer earned a shot at a Women’s Championship at Clash in Paris, which takes place on August 31st at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France.

Naomi Cashes In & Wins WWE Women’s World Title

Saturday’s WWE Evolution 2 event also featured Naomi cashing in her Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase and defeating Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY to become the new WWE Women’s World Champion.

This was Naomi’s third WWE Women’s World title victory in her WWE career.

Current Card for Monday’s WWE RAW Show

Saturday’s WWE Evolution 2 event also featured one new match announced for the card of this Monday’s WWE RAW show at the Legacy Arena At The BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama.

This new match was setup following a match card graphic shown on the show.

This new match announced was a WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender Gauntlet match of CM Punk vs. Jey Uso vs. LA Knight vs. Penta vs. Bron Breakker. It was announced that the winner of this match will face off against Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight title at SummerSlam 2025.
