Jelly Roll Says He’s Training at WWE Performance Center Every Day
As noted before, musician Jelly Roll has been training for his upcoming WWE in-ring debut at this August’s SummerSlam 2025 event. Jelly Roll is currently scheduled to be competing in a tag team match with Randy Orton against Drew McIntyre at the event.
A recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show featured Jelly Roll as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Jelly Roll providing an update on his training for his match at SummerSlam.
“I have quietly been living in Orlando for about three or four weeks at the PC. Showing up every day like a piece of furniture over there. They can’t kick me out. I’m there from the moment I wake up till it closes almost. Matt Bloom’s my coach.”
Jelly Roll also gave his thoughts about WWE Hall of Famers The Undertaker and Michelle McCool recently gave him some pointers to help him for his wrestling training.
“Undertaker comes in with Michelle, his wife, and they come in and say, ‘Hey, we just want to watch for a minute, just kind of chill, is that cool?’ I was like, ‘Yeah, for sure.’ This is who he is as a human. The entire three-hour session, he and his wife stood on those ropes and just gave me pointer after pointer.”
Jelly Roll also gave his thoughts about how his wrestling training has helped him in his current weight loss journey.
“I knew how physically grueling it was, and I knew that’s what I needed at this point in my weight loss journey that this would be the fire that I needed but man, if I took my shirt off right now, not only would you be appalled by the loose skin, but you would see I am beaten.”

Goldberg Comments on Him Putting Brakes on His Son Gage’s NIL Deal with WWE Over Monetary Issues
A recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show featured WWE Hall of Famer and former wrestler Bill Goldberg as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Goldberg’s thoughts about his son Gage’s potential future in wrestling.
“The kid is like me. He wants to be a football player. That’s a dream of his. Then, his ‘back up plan,’ he’s an extremely lucky person to have a back up plan to go to the WWE or be a professional wrestler. I’d say he’s got it in his blood.”
Goldberg also gave his thoughts about how he put the brakes on his son Gage’s NIL deal with WWE over WWE’s low monetary amount offer.
“They tried to get him in the NIL, but when I found out how much they were going to give him, I put the brakes on that one. They would be ignorant if they didn’t have an idea that it could be in his future.”
