Mike Santana Comments on His Loss at TNA Slammiversary 2025 Being “Air Drained Right Out Of The Room”
Mike Santana reflected earlier today on Twitter about his loss for the TNA World Championship at TNA’s Slammiversary 2025 event this past Sunday in his hometown state.
*Long Post*
It’s been a long 3 days. I needed the time to myself to rest, recover, and reflect. But before getting into how I’ve been feeling. I want to show some gratitude.
First and foremost, I want to thank God and My family. Looking back on the last few years of my life. Both have played such an integral roll in getting me to where I am today. God for continuing to guide and watch over me. And my family for their endless support and encouragement. Like most of us who do this at a top level, we sacrifice a lot. But they’ve stood there with open arms every time I’ve made my way back.
To the entire team at @ThisIsTNA. From the locker room to everyone behind the cameras. Last Sunday was a celebration for all the endless hard work we’ve put in to make this happen. The front office, the camera/production crew, the men and women in the ring, and every dept that puts in work. I want to personally THANK YOU.
And to the fans. Without all of you, none of this happens. You all continue to support and make your voices heard loud and clear. And we do our very best to give you something worth paying your hard earned money. Aside from the support you have given TNA. I want to THANK YOU for taking the ride on this journey with me. I was in the main event last Sunday, not just because of the hard work I’ve put in but because YOU all wanted me there. And that’s something I’ll forever cherish.
Now to how I’m feeling….I lost…in front of my family, friends, city, and culture. I felt the air drained right out of the room when the 3 count happened and it wasn’t me with my hand raised. I was SO CLOSE and had it ripped right out of my hands. The disappointment from the fans in the arena and at home. The sadness that my family felt. And the tears that my daughter shed…all did something to me. IT MADE ME WANT IT EVEN MORE. They always say, it’s the journey that matters the most. And the ride that I’ve been on with all of you on my back, has been a special one.
I WILL BE YOUR CHAMPION.
I hope for the opportunity to speak to you all in the coming weeks on #TNAiMPACT, regarding my future. Tune in for a LIVE episode, tomorrow at 8PM.

Gia Miller Comments on Tessa Blanchard Attack at Slammiversary 2025
This past Sunday’s TNA Slammiversary 2025 event in Elmont, New York featured Tessa Blanchard attacking TNA backstage interviewer Gia Miller following her loss to Indi Hartwell. TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella issued an indefinite suspension to Blanchard afterwards as punishment for her attack on Miller.
Miller provided an update on Tuesday on Twitter about her current situation following Blanchard’s attack on her.
“I want to start off by saying thank you to everyone who has reached out. I’m sorry I haven’t gotten back to you all individually so I’m making this post to let everyone know that I am okay, I am not ready to talk about what happened yet. TNA has allowed me to take some time to process and decide how I would like to handle this situation moving forward. I ask that you respect my privacy during this time. Be kind to each other. Gia.”

Eric Bischoff Comments on His Belief TNA Can Be Number Two Again By This Time Next Year with Right TV Partner
A recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show featured Eric Bischoff as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Bischoff’s thoughts about his belief that TNA Wrestling is one move away from becoming a major player in the wrestling industry.
“They are one deal away from being a major player. If they get a broadcast partner. If they get the right broadcast situation…they have the product. They know what they’re doing. Good team of people. They just need a bigger platform. If they get it, watch them take off,”
Bischoff also gave his thoughts about his belief that TNA can surpass AEW as the number two promotion by this time next year with the right television partner.
“By this time next year. Depends on the TV deal. With the right television partner. What’s number two? By what measure do you define number two? In terms of television ratings and popularity, they could be number two in a minute.”
Bischoff also gave his thoughts about his belief that TNA has been making a lot of smart decisions and threw some shade again at AEW.
“I was texting with (TNA President) Carlos (Silva) an hour or two ago. I reached out and said, ‘congratulations on what you did.’ It was a great night. Big turnout. They’re making a lot of smart decisions. They’re growing incrementally and they’re doing it almost quietly. They’re not out there thumping their chest and talking about taking down the competition and all the crazy stuff that AEW did at the very beginning. They’re just quietly going about their business, producing great shows, bringing in great talent, getting involved in great partnerships, and they’re growing the business. That’s the part that excites me, watching a business grow. Especially a wrestling business. It’s been fun watching TNA grow.”
