Mikey Nicholls Provides Update On His Current NJPW Status
TMDK’s Mikey Nicholls has been absent from New Japan Pro Wrestling since this past December’s World Tag League 2024 Finals event.
WrestleMobs held a recent interview with Nicholls. One of the topics discussed included Nicholls providing an update on his current status with NJPW and his current abscense from the company.
“Because I don’t know what’s happened with Japan, but yeah, I haven’t been there since December. I’ve wrestled a bit here, in Perth but, it’s the longest I’ve gone without consistent kind of full-time wrestling in 20-odd years so, I don’t really know what to do with myself.
No one’s really said anything to me (about NJPW). It’s kind of just how it always has been. Sort of you wait and then you get a call and then it’s like, oh, you’re leaving in three days and you’re going for five weeks or whatnot but… I’m trying to make the most of it while I’m home… I’ve gotta work there eventually so…”
