Charles Robinson Went To Emergency Room Following Bat Bite Incident

WWE referee Charles Robinson announced on Instagram that he was taken to the emergency room and hospitalized for several hours after getting bitten by a bat in the early hours of today.

“Great way to start the morning. 2:00am and got bit by a bat. That’s right a bat! 4 hours later in the ER and six shots. #animalattacks #hospital.”

Shayna Baszler Says She Had 3 Years Left On Her WWE Deal When She Was Released

As noted before, Shayna Baszler recently has been working as a producer for WWE in a tryout role following her release from the company this past May.

A recent episode of The Ariel Helwani Show featured Baszler as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Baszler’s thoughts about her release from WWE.

“I was released. I had, not too long ago, signed an extension. I wish it would have ran out, but I was released.”

Baszler also revealed that she had around three years left on her deal before her release from the company.

“I had like three more years.”

Baszler also gave her thoughts about how her WWE release was something that was not unexpected for her.

“It’s kind of funny because it’s never a good feeling, but it was not unexpected. As far as Zoey (Stark) and I, and with Sonya (Deville) being released, they didn’t renew her contract. From that time, Zoey and I just weren’t on TV. You kind of get this feeling…we were trying to pitch stories and ideas and doing our own stuff on social media and that sort of thing. Nothing was hitting with creative. It’s a bummer in that moment, but I kind of knew where we were at.”

A recent episode of the What Do You Wanna Talk About? with Cody Rhodes podcast featured Jelly Roll as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Jelly Roll’s thoughts about his praise of NXT talents Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo for helping him so much during his training for his tag team match at SummerSlam 2025.

“Momma Mel, that’s what I call her, the lady that runs [the Performance Center]. She gives me all my ring time and deals with me being completely nuts. ‘I want to do 11 to 1 tomorrow,’ and I hit her up and am like, ‘Actually, I want to do 4 to 6 or 7, too,’ and everyone leaves at five. She’ll always find people to stay for me. Matt Bloom has dedicated his life to me. I love you, Coach Bloom. Scott Moss. Coach (Robbie) Brookside. He’s so awesome. A couple of NXT kids who I want to shout out who really deserve it.

The tag team champs Hank and Tank. I can’t wait until they get called up. I’m cheering for them to get called up. The minute they get called up, I’m gonna cancel the show to show up. They’ve been that good to me. Even better is a kid named Mitch, they call him Stacks [Channing Lorenzo]. These dudes have shown up for me every day and took tens, dozens of bumps every day while I’m learning. Poor Stacks. Our first four or five bodyslams, you would hear three different thuds. You’d hear his feet, his back, and his head or shoulders. He’d just stand back up, and he was so nice. They’re like, ‘What we’re looking for is one flat thud.’ I’d throw him over again. One time, I damn near flipped the poor kid. We got it. They’ve been really sweet to me. Myles Bourne. Shawn (Michaels) has poured love into me. KO [Kevin Owens] has poured a lot of love into me. Damian Priest has showed up for me big. (Jacob) Fatu.”
