Kota Ibushi Says He’s Signed New Two-Year Deal With AEW
Kota Ibushi announced on Wednesday on Instagram that he recently signed a new contract with AEW to remain in the company.
Ibushi stated that his new contract is for two years in length.
“This was incredible! A turning point in my life. I never thought I’d get to ride in a private jet! And I signed a two-year contract renewal. I still want to live, but I have no choice but to live. I can’t imagine myself still wrestling at 45. What else do I want? I don’t know.
I have a dream to live and live this kind of pro wrestling! Back in the day when I was little.
Just not just good 99% hell you won’t get there. How tough that 99% hell is was far above imagination. From training and daily living. Just don’t look down. Up the top. Still not enough not like this!!”
Ibushi has been signed with AEW since July of 2023.
Jon Moxley Comments on The Experience Of A Live AEW Show for Fans
FOX 19 NOW Cincinnati held a recent interview with Jon Moxley. One of the topics discussed included Moxley’s thoughts about the live experience of an AEW show and how the company isn’t focused on selling things to fans and focuses more about having a good time.
“There’s something really special about All Elite Wrestling and the fans that come out to our shows and buy tickets. This is the spirit of pure professional wrestling and fun and excitement and drama and the human spirit of competition and everything you go to a sporting event for. Not a lot of fluff, not a lot of bs, we’re not trying to sell you anything, we’re trying to have a good time. It’s wrestling the way you remember it when you were a kid. It’s really a beautiful thing. We’re exactly what we claim to be and I think the fans can sense that. I think we have the greatest fans in the world.”
