Tiffany Stratton Comments on Criticism of Her Match with Jade Cargill at WWE SummerSlam 2025
A recent episode of The Babyfaces podcast featured current WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Stratton’s thoughts about the online criticisms over her match against Jade Cargill at WWE’s SummerSlam 2025 event being the shortest match across both nights on SummerSlam for announced matches.
“I feel like we didn’t have this like insane life or death story going into SummerSlam, so I didn’t really feel like we needed — like you said — an insane 40-minute long match. I thought it was a very competitive match, it was very fast. And I think that’s all we really needed. So I’m actually really pleased with how my match went at SummerSlam with Jade Cargill.”

Kevin Nash Responds To Bret Hart’s Comments About WWE SummerSlam Incident & Says He Did Not Have A Seat Either
As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart stated in a recent interview with Slam Wrestling that he currently does not feel appreciated by WWE following an incident over him being invited to attend SummerSlam 2025 only to be rejected when he arrived there due to claims of lack of seats and his claim that Kevin Nash was reserved a seat.
A recent episode of the Kliq This! podcast featured WWE Hall of Famer and co-host Kevin Nash giving his thoughts about the recent comments made by Hart about his seating incident at WWE’s SummerSlam 2025 event earlier this month.
“I saw where he was pissed because he went to SummerSlam and was told that they would have a seat for him, and there wasn’t but I got a seat.
Well, number one, I didn’t go to the show, because I knew I didn’t have a seat. I guess my name got brought up, it would be, oh! Triple H’s buddy got a f*cking seat. I actually called Bret (Hart). I said, ‘I stopped going after they put me in a f*cking box, and the monitor in the box didn’t work, and the ring was so f*cking small and we were so far away that we had to watch, like, look up and watch the fucking tron, like, with no f*cking announcing.’ Jesus, man, it’s bad enough to f*cking have to watch f*cking wrestling without being able to f*cking fast forward through sh*t, let alone no f*cking announcing and volume and — f*ck.
I don’t blame Bret… I had a signing inside the arena, inside MetLife (Stadium). So I did a signing at 1:30 to 3 o’clock or something like that. So, I saw some of the people but, not many.”

Kross stated “No. I had a conversation with him earlier in the year about all of this. They took a point man and they put him between us to communicate. Now, the point man is responsible for all of the dialogue. He knows that I want to talk and he knows what I want to do. He knows.” Kross also gave his thoughts about if he has was tempted to send Triple H a text message. Kross stated “I don’t know what I would send him. That guy, who they put in front of him to talk to me is telling me that everything is coming from them. I’ve made it very clear that I want to keep the lanes of communication and dialogue open. It’s a very weird situation. I’ve conveyed everything. Everyone just needs to stop being weird.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
