Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show featured a new video airing teasing HOOK making his return from injury soon.

Isla Dawn Makes AEW Debut Appearance

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured former WWE talent Isla Dawn making her official debut appearance in AEW.

Dawn competed in a singles match against Megan Bayne, which was won by Bayne.

Zack Sabre Jr. Makes Surprise Appearance

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. making a surprise appearance.

During the show, Max Caster came out for his first ever International Max Caster Open Challenge Series match. After some words and crowd chanting, Caster called out for the next person to come out and see if they could last five minutes against the “best wrestler alive.” This led to Sabre Jr.’s music playing and him coming out to answer the challenge.

Sabre Jr. defeated Caster in under two and a half minutes.

BULLET CLUB War Dogs Challenges The Opps for AEW World Trios Titles at Forbidden Door 2025

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured one new match announced for the card of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025.

This new match announced was an AEW World Trios Championship match of BULLET CLUB War Dogs (Robbie X, Clark Connors, & Drilla Moloney) vs. The Opps (Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs, & Samoa Joe) (c).

This new match was setup following a backstage promo segment involving Kidd explaining his reasons for bringing the War Dogs to AEW and Connors issuing a challenge to The Opps for their World Trios titles.

Afterwards it was announced that this match was made official for the show’s Zero Hour pre-show.

Three New Matches Announced for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025

Saturday’s taped AEW Collision show also featured three new matches also announced for the card of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025, which takes place on Sunday, August 24th at The O2 in London, England.

All three new matches were announced to be taking place on Forbidden Door’s Zero Hour pre-show.

The first new match announced was an All Star Eight-Man Tag Team match of Cru (Action Andretti & Lio Rush) & Don Callis Family (Hechicero & Josh Alexander) vs. Paragon (Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong), Yuya Uemura, & El Desperado.

The second new match announced was an All Star Eight-Woman Tag Team match of Triangle of Madness (Skye Blue, Julia Hart, & Thekla) & Megan Bayne vs. Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, Harley Cameron, & Queen Aminata.

The third new match announced was a Trios match of Michael Oku & JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey) vs. Ricochet & Gates of Agony (Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun).
