Current Plans for Potential New Match for WWE Clash In Paris
WWE reportedly is currently working on plans to potentially add one more match to the card of their Clash in Paris event on August 31st in Nanterre, France, according to the Wrestling Observer Radio.
Dave Meltzer reported that his sources stated that WWE officials have held recent talks regarding the potential of adding a singles match between Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton to the card of Clash in Paris.
Meltzer reported that its not a 100% guarantee that the match will be added to Clash in Paris but this is something that WWE officials have been talking about of late.
Meltzer also reported that should the match not take place for Clash in Paris, it will still be taking place prior to McIntyre’s planned match against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Nikki Bella Comments on Potential Brie Bella WWE Return in Future
Sports Illustrated’s The Takedown on SI held a recent interview with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella. One of the topics discussed included Bella’s thoughts about the potential of her sister Brie making a return to WWE in the future.
“I keep pushing it. All the women want her back and they keep asking me every week has that decision changed. I don’t think legacies should be determined on spouses, but I also understand business.”
Bella also gave her thoughts about her belief that WWE has become more open to the idea of bringing Brie back to the company.
“I do think [WWE is] becoming more and more open to it. I understand it takes time and we just have to figure things out. There’s so much business to figure out, and Brie and I both completely understand that.”
New Extended Partnership Deal with PSG
WWE announced that they have recently signed a new long-term partnership deal with French soccer club Paris Saint-Germain
