Kenny Omega Responds to Report About Him Dealing with Very Serious Pain

Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Kenny Omega is currently battling very serious pain following the Lights Out Steel Cage match at this past Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025 event in London, England.

Following the release of the report, Omega responded on Twitter stating that everybody is in pain in some way and for people to not worry about him and he will be fine.

“Speedball” Mike Bailey Comments on Rumored Backstage Heat with MVP

As noted before, MVP has been dealing with backstage heat within AEW regarding the growing frustrations over MVP’s influence on The Hurt Syndicate’s creative direction and his rumored dislike of “Speedball” Mike Bailey over unknown reasons. MVP and Bailey responded earlier this month in a friendly joking manner about their rumored backstage issues.

A recent episode of the 94Wip radio show featured Bailey as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Bailey’s thoughts about the rumored backstage heat issues between him and MVP in AEW and their response video about the matter.

“He said ‘fuck you’ to me, I said ‘fuck you’ to him. This is pro wrestling. I think it’s very silly to go online, read that these two pro wrestlers do not like each other. ‘Oh man, they hate each other.’ This is a wrestling show. Kevin and I tried to take the Hurt Syndicate’s tag team championships away from them many times for several months leading up to All In. We hate each other. Of course. Sure. [Laughs]. Why not. At the end of the day, whatever makes the best show for the audience is what we’re into. If hating each other is part of that, then let’s roll with it.”
