Jaida Parker vs. Lash Legend

Lash pushes Jaida and Jaida pushes back.  They lock up and Jaida with a slap.  Lash runs Jaida into the corner and connects with shoulders.  Lash gets Jaida up but Jaida escapes and sends Lash into the corner and connects with shoulders.  Lash sends Jaida into the ropes and connects with a shoulder tackle followed by a splash for a near fall.  Jaida tries to flaot over but Lash holds on and runs Jaida’s head into the top and middle rope.  Jaida goes for a sunset flip and Lash windmills to stay on her feet.  Jaida with a forearm and arm wringers. Jaida with a knee to the midsection and a rollup for a near fall.  Jaida with a crucifix for a near fall.  Jaida with an arm bar.  Lash with a forearm and she goes for a slam but Jaida escapes.  Lash holds on to the ropes when Jaida goes for an O’Connor Roll.  Lash sends Jaida to the apron.  Jaida with a forearm.

Jaida goes up top and she hits a cross body but because she slipped on the turnbuckles, she didn’t hit it perfectly.  Jaida with a few near fall.s  Jaida puts Lash in the ropes and Jaida with the springboard seated splash attempt but Lash grabs Jaida by the throt and hits a choke slam for a near fall.  The referee checks on Jaida to see if she can continue.  Lash with a knee to the midsection and a rear chin lock.  Lash turns it into a reverse chin lock.  Lash with a knee and Irish whip but she runs into a boot.  Lash blocks a kick and she connects with a forearm.  Lash with more forearms in the ropes.  Lash with an Irish whip and clothesline.  Lash gets a near fall.

Lash with a bear hug.  Jaida with elbows but Lash adds more pressure with the bear hug.  Jaida with head butts to escape.  Lash with a chop.  Lash with a slam and she misses a splash when Jaida rolls away.  Jaida with forearms to Lash followed by punches.  Jaida with a shoulder tackle but Lash does not move.  Jaida with a shoulder tackle and a flying shoulder tackle.  Jaida with a running hip into the corner followed by a suplex attempt but Lash escapes.  Jaida with a lungblower.  Jaida with a blockbuster for a near fall.  Lash with a knee and a uranage back breaker for a near fall. Lash misses a shoulder and hits the ring post.  Jaida puts Lash in the ropes for the springboard seated splash.  Jaida gets Lash up for a Samoan drop and Lash goes to the floor and Jaida holds on by the hair.  Jaida gets Lash up but Lash with a bicycle kick on the floor.  Lash with Lash Extension onto to the announce table.  

Lash sends Jaida back into the ring and Lash hits another Lash Extension for the three count.

Winner: Lash Legend via Pinfall.

After the match, Jaida attacks Lash from behind and sends Lash into the ring steps.  Jaida with a running hip through the ringside barrier.

Backstage: Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Arianna Grace, Blake Monroe, Jordynne Grace, Kali Armstrong

Blake Monroe is with Adrianna Grace and they talk about make up.  Blake likes someone who knows about fashion and glamour.  She says she thought she was done with JG but she attacked her.  Arianna says she doesn’t like her either and they are not related.

Jordynne shows up and Blake leaves.

Kali Armstrong yells at Jordynne for interrupting her NXT debut.  She tells Jordynne she has a problem with her.

Backstage: Je’Von Evans

Je’Von Evans walks in the back.  We go to commercial.

In-Ring: Je’Von Evans

We are back and Je’Von Evans makes his way to the ring.

Je’Von says he appreciates the fans.  He says he knows y’all expect him to come out and be excited and find the positives about everything, but after Heatwave, he doesn’t think he can do it.  He says he thought he had it in the back.  After beating Trick in Philadelphia, he got great advice from legends.  It felt different at Heatwave.  Evans says he felt nervous.  He felt like the walls were talking to him.  He felt that he was going to become the champion.  He says he called his sister to tell her that he was going to become the youngest NXT Champion.  He didn’t do it.

Evans says he heard the crowd erupt and he heard the three count, but he saw Oba’s foot under the ropes.  Oba capitalized on that and then Oba had his hand raised.  Evans says he wants to apologize because he says he let everyone down.  Evans says he let himself down.  He says he felt like he had this in the bag.  He ignored everybody.  He didn’t talk to anyone in the PC or his family for a week.

We go to the ShawnTron where a motorcyle arrives.

Evans says he doesn’t want to deal with any of the games.

The person gets off the motorcycle and we hear a gong . . . 

but it is not the Undertaker.

Josh Briggs comes out and asks if you are expecting someone else.  Taker isn’t here to give you words of wisdom.  He says Je’Von is immature and everything he hates about the locker room.  You are 21 and main eventing PLEs and getting title match after title match.

Evans says he doesn’t want to hear it from Josh right now.

Josh says Evans’ problem is that he thinks it is okay to wait.  Josh says Evans is from a generation where you tweet about something.  You should have gone up to Oba and demanded a rematch.  You didn’t and Ricky walked over you to become the number one contender.  Josh tells Evans to try to be him.  Try waiting for years for an opportunity knowing you are better than everyone in the locker room.

Evans says he is trying to be nice and he is not in a mood for this.

Josh says he is not done.  He says you want someone to motivate you and give you a gold star.  Josh says that isn’t him.  You are never going to beat Oba.  You are good, but you aren’t good enogh.

Evans asks Josh if he knows him.

Josh kicks Evans and he tells Je’Von he needs to learn when to fight and when to lay down.  Josh gets a chair and he grabs Josh and choke slams Evans onto the chair.

We take a look at Xia Brookside and Candice LeRae to talk about their match.

Backstage: Hank & Tank, Oba Femi, Ricky Saints

Hank, Tank, Ricky, and Oba are in LOCKER ROOM and Hank and Tank give a speech to get them to work together tonight and maybe they can get a title match.  Hank talks to Oba about Ricky Saints.  Tank talks to Ricky about Oba.  Hank says they have a plan.  Tank says they will see them in the ring and they leave.

Ricky tells Oba to be locked in tonight.  Oba tells Ricky to worry about himself.

WWE Speed Women’s Championship #1 Contender Tournament First Round Match
Xia Brookside vs. Candice LeRae

Xia with a rollup.  Xia with a sunset flip for a near fall.  Candice with a knee and Xia with a head scissors take down. Xia misses an elbow in the corner and Xia recovers with a head scissors take down.  Xia with a drop kick and runnng double knees into the corner.  Xia with a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall.  Xia goes for a monkey flip but Candice puts Xia on the turnbuckles and knocks her off the turnbuckles to the floor.  Candice goes to the floor and sends Xia back into the ring.  Xia with a rollup for a near fall.  Candice with a drop kick and she misses a quebrada.  Xia with a Codebreaker for a near fall.  Xia backs Candice into the corner and connects with shoulders.

Candice is put on the turnbuckles and Candice with a tornado DDT and a step up back senton.  Candice with a quebrada for the three count.

Winner: Candice LeRae via Pinfall.

Backstage: The High Ryze, Chase U, Josh Briggs

We go to the men’s Locker Room and Josh enters.  He tells everyone to keep talking if they have the balls to do it.

Kale tells Josh he has the balls to tell Josh that he sucks.  Uriah says Josh has been a jerk.

Andre shows up and says it isn’t their fault.

Josh says they are getting advice but Andre isn’t Undertaker.

Kale and Uriah tell Josh that Chase will take care of Josh and they are going to talk to Ava about the match.

Backstage: Fatal Influence, The Culling, ZaRuca, Ava

Ava is in OFFICE and Jacy enters with Jazmyn and Fallon.

Ava says she wants a team from NXT to get a tag title match.  Izzi tells Fallon that losers don’t get chances.  They all claim they deserve a title match.  Fallon asks Zaria about Evolution.

Ava says next week there will be an elimination match with all three teams and the winner gets a future tag title match.

We go to Dark State.

Shugars says when the lights get flashing, they are already hit.  The rest of the world is confused.  Dion says they are four renegades.  He says Osiris was in the League and he wasn’t given a shot.  Cutler was embarrassed on national TV on LFG.  He says he was told he wasn’t charismatic enough.  Dion says Saquon was smooth on the independent scene but it took six years to get here.  Dion talks about sitting around and then being pushed around by Trick Williams and Oba Femi.  Shugars says they played all of you.  Dion says they have the talent to skip the line.  They are going to be bigger superstars than anyone in NXT.  Shugars says violence pays the bills.  They say they weren’t championshpi material, but what are they holding in their hands.  Shugars says they are brother while you four are from different places.

Backstage: Trick Williams

Trick Williams walks in HALLWAY as we go to commercial.

In-Ring: Trick Williams, DIY

We are back and Trick Williams makes his way to the ring with the Booker T underlaid tracks.

Trick says he did a promotional piece as only he can and he said some things that he meant.  He says he stands ten toes down because it was real.  He said he is the hottest and greatest NXT superstar who has ever lived.  Trick says to his surprise, no one said a word on the contrary.  That can be for one of two reasons.  They know what he knows that he is the hottest NXT superstar to ever live.  Two, they don’t care about NXT any more.  Trick says that is crazy because after all of the hard work they have put in over the last three or four years.  He sees fans riding on buses and scooters doing everything they can for NXT and they don’t care about us. 

Trick says he doesn’t blame them one bit.  As soon as he moves to Raw and Smackdown and he gets his big contract and home in the suburbs, you are never going to see him again.  He says they do what they want.  They travel the world.  They are in Europe and doing what they want.  Can you blame them?  Trick says all of the favorites that you loved, they don’t love you.

Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa’s music play and they make their way to the ring.

Johnny says they love you and they heard about NXT Homecoming but they wanted to stop by early because today is the tenth anniversary of their NXT debut.  Johnny says we have the greatest superstar in NXT history in the ring.  Ciampa says of all of the champions and future hall of famers, none are better than Trick Williams.

Johnny says he is a two time NXT champion, but aren’t you a two time champion Tommaso and Tommaso confirms it.  Ciampa points out that Johnny held the title.  He mentions that Trick is also a North American champion and Johnny points out he is a three time champion.  Ciampa says that Trick is a TNA champion and they are not.  Tommaso brings up that Johnny was a tag champion as well and his partner had to be muscular with a bald head.  Johnny says that his partner got a little grumpy.

Johnny says Trick’s resume says a lot but the jury is still out on being the greatest.  He says he has seen a lot of great men and women.  It didn’t matter who you were, it was their love and passion for the brand.  Ciampa says there were two guys who defined an era of NXT.  Two people who bled black and gold and carved their path . . .he takes Trick’s sunglasses off.  He says it was two men who paved the way for where you are today.  He says it was DIY.

Trick tells Ciampa not to put his hands on him because Ciampa can’t beat his girl’s ass, let’s talk about it.  He says he isn’t out here to disrespect.  He is here to show the love.  You have done great things, let’s talk about it.  You did all of these great things and then in came Trick to kick your accolades back to Medieval Times.  He says he is still carrying Melo and still the greatest of all time, let’s talk about it.

Johnny asks Tommaso if he wants to talk about it.  Ciampa pushes Trick and Trick misses a punch and Johnny with a super kick and then Johnny and Tommaso hit a super kick and running knee combination.

Backstage: Je’Von Evans, Ava

Ava checks on Je’Von.  Evans says he is okay.  She says if Je’Von doesn’t interfere in Josh’s match, he can have him next week.

Backstage: Ava, Tavion Height, “All Ego” Ethan Page

Tavion Heights gives Ethan his flag back but Ethan says it was a gift for a country with true patriotism.  Ethan talks about how the flag is the symbol for 40 million.  Tavion says he has an issue with one maple syrup sipping idiot.

Ethan says he won’t acknowledge the US flag.

Ethan says that Ava was going to make a flag match, but Ava says it happens next week.

Tavion says Ethan will acknowledge the flag next week.

Kali Armstrong vs. Jordynne Grace

Kali misses a splash in the corner and Grace with kicks and an Irish whip.  Kali sends Grace into the corner and she connects with punches.  Kali with an Irish whip and a back body drop.  Kali with a running shoulder into the corner and more shoulders.  Kali with a punch.  Grace with a knee and she floats over a few times.  Grace with an elbow and chops and forearms.  Grace with a knee and chop.  Grace with a reverse gutwrench and a camel clutch.  Kali escapes the hold and backs Grace into the turnbuckles.  Grace holds on.  Kali with a snap mare to escape.  Kali with a back elbow and she sends Grace into the turnbuckles.  Kali with a series of short Irish whips followed by a hard Irish whip.  Kali kicks Grace and stomps on the midsection.  Kali with kicks to the ribs.

Kali sends Grace’s head into the mat.  Kali with an Irish whip.  Grace with an elbow and she goes to the turnbuckles.  Kali with a punch to stop Grace.  Kali sets for a superplex and Grace blocks it with forearms.  Kali with punches and they exchange forearms on the turnbuckles.  Grace with head butts and she tries for a sunset flip power bomb but Kali holds on to the ropes.  Kali with a punch and she gets a near fall.  Kali goes for a suplex but Grace blocks it.  Kali with forearms to the back and knees.  Kali goes for a suplex but Grace blocks it and she tries for a delayed vertical suplex but Kali gets to her feet.  Kali drops Grace on the top rope and she gets a near fall.

Kali with a back breaker and she stretches Grace over her knee.  Grace with knees to get out of the hold.  Grace backs Kali into the turnbuckles and goes for a back slide.  Grace with a series of clotheslines.  Grace with a springboard clothesline for a near fall.  Grace goes for the Juggernaut Driver but Kali blocks it and connects with an elbow.  Kali with a power slam and she gets a near fall.  Kali runs the ropes to set up for something but Grace with a back elbow and a Juggernaut Driver for the three count.

Winner: Jordynne Grace via Pinfall.

After the match, Blake Monroe makes her way to the ring and they fight on the floor.  Grace Irish whips Blake into the ring steps and Grace with a double leg take down.  Blake goes for a triangle but security comes out to stop them.

We take a look at Lola Vice in Miami.  She says growing up in a Hispanic household is being told by your parents that everyone has a sad story.  It is about making your story.  She says she is from Miami.  It is who she is.  She talks about her pride being Latina from Miami.  You don’t grow up soft when you are Cuban-American.  She says she left the house at 18 to start her MMA career.  She says she hasn’t been back in 9 years.  She says she was part of the culture in Little Havana.  She says she feels closest to Cuba.  There is no if I can, but when I can.

Lola’s mother says she always told Lola to be herself.  Her sister says Lola is a great role model.  

Lola says she puts so much pressure on herself because of her dad.

Andre Chase vs. Josh Briggs

Briggs with a boot and punch but Chase’s leg is under the ropes.  Josh wtih a forearm and Irish whip but Chase with a back elbow.  Chase goes to the turnbuckles for a head scissors take down.  Josh goes to the floor and Chase goes to the apron and hits a thrust kick.  Chase with a cross body off the apron and Josh catches Chase and runs him into the ring post.  Josh with a forearm and they return to the ring.  Josh with a hard Irish whip.  Josh with an elbow drop and he gets a near fall.  Josh stomps on the hand and connects with a punch.  Chase goes for a sunset flip but Josh holds on and he tries to punch Chase but Chase moves.  Chase with a rollup for a near fall.

Josh with an elbow in the corner followed by a snap mare. Josh with a kick and forearm.  Josh gets a near fall.  Chase with an enzuigiri.  Chase goes to the turnbuckles for punches to Josh.  Josh counters a bulldog attempt into a belly-to-back suplex and he gets a near fall.  Josh with a reverse chin lock.  Chase with elbows and forearms.  Chase with a tornado DDT for a near fall.  Josh avoids a neck breaker and hits a forearm and splash for a near fall.  Josh backs Chase into the corner and puts him on the turnbuckles.  Josh with a punch and he climbs the turnbuckles.  Josh sets for a superplex but Chase blocks it.  Chase with punches  and a head butt to send Josh to the mat.  Chase leaps over Josh and Josh with a side slam.  Josh goes for a suplex and Chase counters with stundog millionaire.  Chase with a cross body for a near fall.

Chase with a thrust kick and he sets for another one and hits it.  Chase goes for a third one but Josh blocks it and Josh with a choke slam and running boot for the three count.

Winner: Josh Briggs via Pinfall.

After the match, Josh attacks Kale and then he choke slams Connors through the table.

Backstage: Trick Williams

Trick is asked about what happened with DIY.

Next Week’s Show Card Rundown

Next week, we have a Flag Match between Tavion Heights and Ethan Page.  Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley, Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx, and Sol Ruca and Zaria will meet in a Number One Contender Elimination Match for a future tag title match.  Je’Von Evans will face Josh Briggs.

Eight-Man Tag Team Match
Hank & Tank (Hank Waller & Tank Legder), Ricky Saints, & Oba Femi vs. DarkState (Dion Lennox, Osiris Griffin, Saquon Shugars, & Cutler James)

Tank and Saquon start things off and Saquon with punches and kicks.  Tank gets Saquon up but Saquon with a side head lock take down.  Dion tags in and hits a flying clothesline for a near fall.  Dion with a rear chin lock.  James ags in and Tank with a crucifix for a near fall.  Hank tags in and Hank with a hip into the corner followed by a bulldog.  Tank with a back senton and Hank gets a near fall.  Hank with a wrist lock and Ricky tags in.  Ricky with a chop and kicks.  Ricky goes to the turnbuckles and goes Old School and he tags in Oba.  Oba with shoulders and an arm wringer.  Oba with a forearm.  Ricky goes for the tag but Oba pulls his hand away and he does the Ricky pose.  Oba with a clothesline.

Oba sets for a suplex and Ricky goes after Osiris.  Hank and Tank with atomic drops and Oba with a drop down slam from the shoulders.  We get a four way Malachi Crunch.  James with a back elbow to Oba and Dion tags in.  Dion with punches.  Dion with a front face lock and Oba blocks a suplex.  Oba with a boot to the head.  Hank tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles.  Hank with a double sledge off the turnbuckles and then he hits his own belly many times.  Tank tags in and he does the same thing but with his shirt pulled up.  Tank with a double sledge.  Oba tags in and he goes to the turnbuckles and he will not do what Hank and Tank does so he kicks Dion.  Oba with a shoulder tackle.  Saints tags in and Oba with a back breaker and Ricky goes to the turnbuckles for something but Oba decides to give Dion another back breaker.  Ricky gets a near fall.  Ricky with elbows and Tank tags in.  Tank kicks Dion and he sends Dion into the turnbuckles.  Hank tags in and he hits a splash for a near fall.

Dion with a punch and Osiris tags in.  Osiris, Dion, and Cutler punch and kick Hank.  Saquon gets in a few shots afterward.  James with a punch.  James chokes Hank in the ropes and Saquon kicks Hank in the ropes.  Cutler with a shoulder and everyone else with splashes.  Osiris with a power slam for a near fall.  Osiris with a chin lock.  Osiris with a hard Irish whip.  Osiris with a hard Irish whip.  Osiris with punches and European uppercuts in the corner.  Tank absorbs the impact of the Irish whip and Hank with a clothesline out of the corner.  Dion and Tank tag in and Tank with clotheslines to Dion and kicks to everyone else.  Tank with an atomic drop and a shoulder tackle off the turnbuckles.  Tank with a suicide dive.  Ricky with a DDT.  Saquon tags in and Ricky with a clothesline.  Oba tags in and Saquon sends Ricky into Oba.  Oba sends Saquon to Ricky for a power bomb.  Ricky punches Oba and they fight to the floor.  Tank tags in.

Hank tags in and they set for the Malachi Crunch and hit it on Saquon.  They go for the shoulder tackle and power slam combination.  Tank is pulled into the ring post and Saquon rakes Hank’s eyes.  They set for the toss power bomb and Tank pulls them to the floor.  Cutler clotheslines Hank.  Cutler sets for a choke slam and he says no one is here to help you and Hank yells out Joe Hendry.

Joe shows up on the apron and Hank and Tank hit the shoulder tackle and power slam combination for the three count.

Winner: Hank & Tank, Ricky Saints, & Oba Femi via Pinfall.

Backstage: Ricky Saints, Oba Femi

We cut to Ricky and Oba fighting in the back and miraculously security shows up to try to separate them.
