Alicia Atout Reacts To MJF Appearing on AEW Collision One Day After Their Wedding
As noted before, MJF and AEW backstage interviewer Alica Atout got married this past Friday in a wedding ceremony that was attended by many people within AEW.
Saturday’s AEW Collision show at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania featured MJF making a surprise appearance and brawled with Mark Briscoe to setup their match at All Out 2025.
Following the show, Atout reflected on Twitter about her newly wed husband showing up on Collision instead of spending time together on a honeymoon.
Nah, that’s cool. I didn’t want to go on a honeymoon with my new husband anyway. 🙄 @The_MJF

MJF responded on Twitter stating that “revenge doesn’t take a honeymoon” in regards to his reason for skipping out on their honeymoon.

Current Plans for AEW’s Next Residency Stay
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that AEW’s next residency stay is currently believed to be taking place this December.
Meltzer reported that AEW is currently believed to be returning to the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, New York for this new residency stay.
Meltzer also reported that AEW’s first residency stay in the venue was a major financial success for the company. Meltzer reported that while the attendance was under 1,500 per show during the stay, the ticket prices and gates generated ended up being larger than AEW shows that do around 3,000 for attendances. Meltzer also reported that AEW saved six figures per event in production setup and travel costs.
