This match was initially setup following the All Star Eight-Woman Tag Team match on Saturday’s AEW Collision show that featured Triangle of Madness attacking Statlander causing a big brawl to break out with Storm, Mina Shirakawa, and Harley Cameron all getting involved. After Hayter came out to save Storm’s team and cleared the ring of Triangle of Madness, Storm issued a challenge to Statlander, Hayter, and Thekla for a four-way match for her AEW Women’s World title at All Out.
