AEW Collision Taping Spoilers for September 13th Episode in Philadelphia, PA – Stip Revealed for Match at All Out 2025, Two Wrestlers Advance to AEW Unified Three-Way Match at All Out, Eddie Gilbert Tribute

AEW held a new television tapings for AEW Collision on Thursday at 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This taping will be for this week’s episode on Saturday, September 13th.

In regards to notable moments from the tapings, Mark Briscoe officially revealed the stipulation for his match against MJF at All Out 2025. During a promo segment involving MJF and Briscoe, Briscoe revealed that the stipulation he came up with for their match at All Out is a No DQ Tables and Thumbtacks match.

Two wrestlers also advanced to the AEW Unified Championship Three-way match at All Out. These were Kazuchika Okada, who defeated Michael Oku to retain his title, and Konosuke Takeshita, who defeated Anthony Bowens.

AEW also held a tribute to wrestling legend and booker Eddie Gilbert honoring the late Gilbert’s life and legacy in wrestling.

  • Ian Riccaboni interviewed MJF, who proceeded to insult Mark Briscoe and Philly. This led to Briscoe appearing on the screens and stated he has been thinking about their stipulation. Briscoe stated he saw Sabu put hundreds of people through Tables.  Birscoe continued stating MJF was a prick so he wants hundreds of thousands of thumbtacks in a Tables and Thumbtacks match in a No DQ. Brsicoe then came out and attacked MJF and attempted to hit a Jay Driller to him through tacks in the ring but MJF managed to escape.
  • AEW Unified Championship Tournament First Round match – Konosuke Takeshita defeated Anthony Bowens
  • $500K 10-Woman Tag Team match – Triangle of Madness (Skye Blue, Julia Hart, & Thekla), Megan Bayne, & Penelope Ford defeated Jamie Hayter, TayJay (Tay Melo & Anna Jay), Kris Statlander, & Harley Cameron. Following the match, a big brawl broke out leading to “Timeless” Toni Storm who had been on guest commentary joined in it.
  • Big Bill defeated Max Caster
  • Jerry Lynn was seen talking to Anthony Bowens backstage that was interrupted when Max Caster bumped into Bowens and attacked him. This led to a brawl breaking out between Bowens and Caster that made its way into the ring and that was broken up by Lynn. Lynn got on the microphone and gave a promo asking them what happened to their team. This led to The Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) coming out and mocked Lynn for playing therapist when he could invest in a real team like them. After some words between The Swirl and Lynn, a brawl broken out leading to The Swirl getting the upper hand only for Caster to attempt to make a save only for him to also get beaten down. This led to Bowens looking on being conflicted at first before running in and made the save and helped clear the ring of The Swirl. Lynn raised Caster and Bowens arms but both backed up and left separately.
  • FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) defeated Adam Priest & “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington
  • AEW Unified Championship Tournament First Round match – Kazuchika Okada (c) defeated Michael Oku
  • Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Daniel Garcia) defeated Paragon (Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly)
  • AEW CEO and President Tony Khan came out to the ring and talked about the importance of Eddie Gilbert in the 2300 Arena. Khan then brought out Doug Gilbert who talked about being the first person to jump out of the Eagle’s Nest and how his brother became the King of Philadelphia. Gilbert thanked Tony and AEW for honoring Eddie Gilbert. Khan then brought out Tommy Rich who thanked Khan and all the fans in Philly. Rich stated when he was here with the FBI, everyone hated the Big Don. Rich continued stating he and Gilbert were a great tag team in Memphis and he grew up with The Gilbert family and thanked everyone for supporting them. Rick then thanked AEW again. Jeff Jarrett stated he could talk all night about Gilbert and his father Tommy and Jarrett’s grandfather Eddie Marlin teamed in Memphis, so they went way back. Jarrett stated that he had so many memories and everyone who came through Memphis wanted to be the next Jerry Lawler. Jarrett continued stating his father knew how to book pro wrestling TV and would tell Jeff how Eddie would come every week with handwritten notes and Jerry told him his mind was made for the business. Jarrett finished stating years later, Gilbert became a great booker in Continental and ECW.
