In-Ring: MJF, Mark Briscoe

We go live right inside the venue with shots of the crowd.

Ian Riccaboni is in the ring, calling out MJF to the ring. The longest reigning former AEW World Champion makes his way out to the ring to a string of boos from the fans. MJF enters the ring and tells Ian that he is going to stand in the ring and shut his mouth an be a good mic stand. MJF says he thought this was the city of brotherly love. He says that everyone is so poor that afford to pay attention. He then says the crowd is stupid and Mark Briscoe cost him a shot at the world title so he costed him his. MJF brags about being the CMLL world champion and how he is in major movies. He says unless Fletcher wins he will defeat Hangman Page. MJF says Mark was born broke. He says he has no problem letting Mark pick the stipulation, because guys like him work hard day in and day out and it doesn’t change anything. MJF says that blue collar will bust and while collar will win.

Mark appears on the big screen calling MJF pathetic and then thanks Max for giving him the excitement he had when he was a little kid. Mark says that he has an idea…he says Philly knows a thing about tables and talks about Sabu putting people through tables in this building. He then says about about tables and thumb tacks…he is talking about tens of thousands of thumb tacks and tables and will give him the a– whoopin’…all of a sudden Mark hits the ring, attacking Max, nailing him with rights and lefts. Mark pulls out a bag of thumb tacks and dumps them in the ring and goes for a Jay Driller, but Max escapes.

Mark’s music hits as the fans give him a big ovation. MJF leaves for the back.

We go to a video package, recapping of a hooded Daniel Garcia attacking Darby Allin on Dynamite, thus joining the Death Riders.


Backstage: Paragon, Hologram

We go backstage with Lexy Nair talking to Hologram, Kyle O’Reilly and Roderick Strong. We get a quick flash for the evil Hologram, as Kyle O’Reilly says how disappointed by Daniel Garcia and how Adam Cole is ashamed. Roderick Strong says he is going to beat both Daniel and Moxley’s a–es.


AEW Unified Championship Tournament First Round Match
Konosuke Takeshita vs. Anthony Bowens

Bowens starts off by chopping Takeshita. Takeshita comes back and kicks Bowens. Takeshita sends Bowens into the ropes, but he fights back and drops Takeshita with a neckbreaker and covers him for only a two count. Bowens chops Takeshita and then sends him to the corner and takes him down with a punch to the leg. Takeshita fights back and sends Bowens head into the turnbuckle, but Bowens sends Takeshita into the ring post as he hits the floor. Bowens leaps off the top and lands on Takeshita on the floor.

Back from the break, the action is back in the ring, as Bowens is in charge of the match. Bowens goes for a famaser, but Takeshita blocks it. Both men go down. Bowens rolls over on Takeshita, but he kicks out at two. Bowens is up on the top rope. Takeshita is up as both men are on the top rope. Bowens slithers out and kicks Takeshita and then drops him with a swinging neckbreaker off the middle rope. Bowens covers Takeshita, but he kicks out at two. Takeshita is up as both men exchange slaps and strikes. Takeshita runs the ropes, but Bowens hits him with a back elbow and a pump kick. Takeshita comes back with a fall away slam on Takeshita…both men make pin attempts…Bowens connects on Takeshita with a Mollywhop, but Takeshita rolls to the floor. Bowens then goes to the floor, rolling Takeshita back in the ring. Bowens tries for a Mollywhop, but Takeshita blocks it and picks up Bowens and swings him up and down hard on the mat and then covers him for the win.

Winner: Konosuke Takeshita via Pinfall.

Back in the arena, the fans are singing the name of Toni Storm…next up is the music of Triangle of Madness…the three women make their way to the ring. Next up is the music of Megan Bayne (the uncrowned Women’s World Champion in my opinion). Bayne comes to the ring with Penelope Ford. Next up is TayJay – Tay Melo and Anna Jay. Next up, is Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron.

We go to an “earlier today” with all the participants in this match. Kris says she has nothing to do with the Death Riders. Jamie Hayter says she will do anything to get the Women’s World Title…last up, Jamie Hayter who makes her way to the ring. She high fives all her team mates who wait for her at ringside.

Wheeler Yuta comes out and hits the apron, clapping at Kris Statlander…

Hayter and Bayne start off. Both women lock up as Bayne shoves off Hayter. Bayne puts Hayter in a headlock as the fans chant her name. Hayter break out of the hold, as Bayne sends her down to the mat. Harley Cameron is in. She runs the ropes, trying to take down Bayne, but she is sent down to the mat instead. Bayne runs the ropes as Harley blind tags Anna Jay. Penelope is tagged in. Tay is tagged in…we get a brawl with all ten ladies in the ring! The ref tries to restore order as Penelope covers Tay for only a two count. Penelope kids Tay and takes her down with a shotgun drop kick on the back…

Back from the break, Megan Bayne picks up Hayter and slams her down. We get Statlander tagging in, taking out Bayne, but she recovers and the ring fills up again. Skyle Blue and Julia Hart double team Tay, sending her to the floor. Thekla nails Hayter…Hayter and Bayne are left in the ring after everyone else clears out. Bayne and Hayter take each other down with huge running clotheslines. We get a this is awesome chant. Anna is back in, but is speared by Thekla and gets covered for the win.

Winner: Triangle of Madness, Megan Bayne, & Penelope Ford via Pinfall.

After the match, we get a big brawl…Mina Shirakawa and Queen Aminata come out to get involved. Aminata has a spatula and is hitting the heals. Toni Storm leaps stands on top of the announce table and leaps off, getting involved in the brawl. Statlander and Hayter take each other out with flying crossbodies in the ring. There are fights in the ring, fights in the entrance area. Thekla goes for a spear on Toni, but is caught with a Storm Zero in the ring.


Max Caster Open Challenge Series Match
Max Caster vs. Big Bill

Back from the break, Max Caster asks for 5-minutes on the clock…who can survive the Best Wrestler Alive!

The music of Bill Bill hits, as he and Bryan Keith head to the ring.

The bell rings, as the clock starts counting down. Max gets the crowd hyped up. Bill runs at Max and connects with a lariat, sending him down. The fans start chanting Eddie. Bill looks at the camera jawing right at Eddie Kingston. Bill hits Max in the back. Bill slaps Bill, but it has not affect. Bill lays into Max…Bill taunts Caster. Bill catches Caster with a black hole slam and covers him for the win, with just 3:06 left on the clock.

Winner: Big Bill via Pinfall.

Bill has a mic as the fans chant for Eddie Kingston. Bill asks where Eddie is and at least the New York loud mouth has the b—s to show up. Bill says the idiot internet fans scold him for calling out Kingston…the fans start and “Eddie” chant. Bill says the people love him because he looks like he does because he represents them. Bill says Eddie worships all the Japanese Wrestling Legends and doesn’t give a damn about Japanese wrestling, Eddie or the fans…Bill challenges Eddie to a match at All Out. Bill then all the idiots on the internet will think Eddie will have the b—s to show up, but Eddie won’t show up. It’s because Eddie won’t show because he is a typical loudmouth fraud.


In-Ring: Jerry Lynn, Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, The Swirl

We go backstage with Lexy Nair, Jerry Lynn and Anthony Bowens. Lynn tells Bowens he needs to look in the mirror…Caster comes in at attacks Bowens. The fight goes to the inside the ring area. Bowens sends Caster in the ring, as Caster takes down Bowens with a big lariat. The fans cheer for Max. Jerry Lynn comes out. Bowens sends Caster to the corner and stops on him. Lynn hits the ring and pulls off Bowens. He almost nails Lynn. He grabs a mic and asks are Max and Anthony out of their minds…Lynn says he told Tony that he saw something in them. Lynn then talks about how both men clawed to the top a one the world tag titles. He then says that Caster has not won a single match and Bowens is floundering in the mid-card. Bowens starts to leave…Blake Christian and Lee Johnson come out and says it makes him sick for one of the greatest wrestlers in this building playing therapist and becoming daddy a– number two and should be investing in a real tag team…Blake says he will show them first hand what he is missing…Lynn takes his shirt off, as Blake and Lee attack Lynn. Caster tries to makes the save. Bowens is on the outside looking conflicted. Bowens hits the ring to make the save! Lee nails Bowens as Caster is down. Lynn sends Blake Christian to the floor. Lynn then takes down Lee as Caster and Bowens work to together to send him to the floor, as the fans go crazy!. Lynn raises the hands of Bowens and Caster, but both men quickly leave the ring on separate sides.


Parking Lot: Mistico, MJF, Jon Cruz

We go backstage with Mistico talking about his mask being on the line in Mexico…MJF enters in with someone wearing a tux and top hat. MJF says he is going to waste Mistico. The guy in the hat says something to Mistico and he slaps him in the face, sending him to the concrete.


FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) vs. Adam Priest & “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington

Cash and Billington start things off…We get a standing switch by Billington. Cash takes down Billington with a drop toe hold. Billington is up and runs the ropes, taking down Cash. Cash comes back with a headlock on Billington and tags in Dax Harwood. Dax sends Billington to the corner and chops him. Billington fights back with a headbutt and chops, sending Dax down…Priest is tagged in, as they double team Dax. Priest is caught in the corner. No clean break, as Dax chops and punches Priest in the side of the head. Priest fights back with a big uppercut, sending Dax to the floor. Dax goes for a slap, but Priest moves and he hits his hand on the ring post. Dax is back in the ring, as Billington goes for the arm, but Dax has Billington on the top rope, coming off with a big back suplex to the mat…

Back from the break, Priest suplexes Dax and then hits him with a big uppercut. Priest runs the ropes, as Cash pulls the ropes down, sending Priest to the floor…the ref didn’t see it. Cash takes out Priest on the floor. Cash hits the ring, as the ref counts, but Priest is quick to get back in the ring. Dax is tagged in. Priest is on the apron, as Dax kicks him while he hangs on the ropes. Dax drops Priest with a sling shot suplex and covers him for only a two count.

Cash is tagged in and connects with a back breaker on Priest. Cash stomps on Priest and then spits in the face of Billington. Cash stomps on Priest and trash talks him. Priest comes back with a slap, but Cash comes back with huge strikes on Priest in the corner…Priest fights back and picks up Cash, dropping him with a suplex. Dax is up on the apron, only to be headbutted by Billington…Both men go down. Cash has Priest in a side headlock…Priest then chop blocks Cash and kicks him in the hip, taking him down with a dragon screw. Priest applies the Boston Crab. Dax is up and breaks the hold. Cash tags in Dax…Billington is up on the top and connects on Dax with a shotgun dropkick. Billington is the legal man. Billington sends Dax out after a big back body drop…Billington is up on the top again. Dax chops Billington and goes up top, only to be heabutted by Billington. Billington chops Dax…Priest sends Dax to the floor. Priest then drops Cash on the ring apron, from off the top rope!

FTR are on the floor as the ref starts the ten count. Both Priest and Billington fly high and land on FTR…we get a big AEW chant! The ref starts the ten count again. Dax is sent back in the ring. Billington and Priest land on Dax with double flying headbutts! Billington covers Dax, but Cash comes in to break up the three count. Priest and Cash spill to the outside. In the ring, Dax picks up Billington, but he counters with a cross face. Priest is hold back Cash who pulls off the turnbuckle pad. Dax gets his foot on the bottom to break the hold…Cash sends Priest into the standard. Billington is sent into the exposed turnbuckle, but is tries for pin on Dax…FTR come back with a big spike piledriver on Billington for the win.

Winner: FTR via Pinfall.

After the match, Dax jaws at the camera.

Michael Oku vs. Kazuchika Okada (c)

Back from the break, the music of Michael Oku hits as the challenger makes his way to the ring. He comes out with a young lady that is either his girlfriend or wife…not sure to be honest.

Next up is Kazuchika Okada, as the champion makes his way to the ring.

The bell rings as we are underway. Both men lock up. Oku sends Okada down, but he is quick to get up. Bothe men lock up again…Okada sends Oku to the ropes. We get a clean break from Okada, but Oku slaps Okada in the face. Okada then takes down Oku. Oku runs the ropes, sending the champ to the ring apron. Oku then drop kicks Okada, sending him to the floor. Oku runs and leaps over the ropes, landing on Okada on the floor. Okada goes back in the ring. Oku goes to the top rope and comes down…Oku goes back up on the top rope, but is pushed by Okada hitting his head on the back of the barricade…the ref checks on him.

Back from the break, the action is back in the ring. Oku nails Okada in the back of head with a standing kick. Oku ducks a rainmaker, connecting with a thrust kick. Oku then comes off the ropes with a moonsault on Okada and covers him for only a two count. Oku applies a Boston Crab in the center of the ring, but Okada makes it to the bottom rope to break the hold. Okus runs as Okada, but he moves out of the way. Oku rocks the head of Okada with a big kick. Oku comes off the top for a missile drop kick, but its blocked by Okada…we get a few pin attempts by Oku…Oku hits the top turnbuckle. Okada picks up Oku and drop him with a tombstone piledriver, followed by the rainmaker to retain.

Winner: Kazuchika Okada via Pinfall to retain the AEW Unified Championship.

After the match, the music of Konosuke Takeshita hits, as he comes out and points at Okdada.

We go to a replay of the match, showing how Okdada retained.

Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Daniel Garcia) vs. Paragon (Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly)

We get a you sold out chant from the fans. On commentary, Daddy Magic says he doesn’t understand Garcia who is wearing shorts…the bell rings as Garcia and Kyle start off. Kyle grabs the arm of Garcia. Kyle takes down Garcia. Kyle pushes Garcia to the ropes and then takes him down. Strong is tagged in. He goes to slap Garcia and he wiggles his way out. O’Reilly is tagged in as they double team Garcia. The action hits the floor. As Moxley comes around the corner, O’Reilly nails him with a knee…the action is back in the ring somewhat, as Mox and Strong are on the floor…Shafir pulls Strong, allowing Mox to drop him with a lariat. Mox works on the left knee of O’Reilly. Garcia goes down. Marina picks up Garcia as he look a little conflicted…

Back from the break, Max has the leg of Kyle locked up. Garcia is tagged in as continues working on leg of O’Reilly. Garcia turns and sends Strong to the floor. Kyle tries to fight back with elbows, which turns into an exchange of elbows. O’Reilly kicks Garcia with his bad leg…Strong is tagged in…he takes down Garcia and then takes down Moxley. Strong picks up Garcia and connects with a gut buster. Strong picks up Mox and drops him with a face buster and then a tiger driver. Strong puts Mox up on the top rope. Strong comes down with a huge superplex on Mox, but Mox then puts a choke hold on Strong. O’Reilly comes off the top on Mox. Garcia comes in, but is taken down. All four men are down. Strong and Mox are up…Mox, who is bleeding from the mouth , has a choke hold on Strong. O’Reilly has Garcia locked up…holds are broken. Strong connects with a big knee on Mox. Kyle runs the apron and nails Mox who is sitting in a chair at ringside. Marina confronts Kyle on the floor. Mox kicks the injured knee of Kyle…Garcia is in and hold the ankle of Kyle, as Mox stomps his head to the mat. Garcia then applies the dragon tamer on Kyle, who quickly taps.

Winner: Death Riders via Submission.

After the match, Daddy Magic leaves the commentary table and gets in the face of Garcia, shouting at him, as Garcia, Mox and Sharfir walk off through the crowd…the show goes off the air.
