Mara Sadè Comments on Transition From Being Tag Wrestler In WWE To Being Singles Wrestler In TNA

A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podacst featured TNA talent Mara Sadè as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Sadè’s thoughts about her transition from being a tag team wrestler in WWE to being a singles wrestler in TNA Wrestling.

“It’s been very positive but also very — it’s a matter of just figuring it out more so than before because being in a tag team, I put all my eggs in a basket with that. So I wanted to make that work and so, me and Lash (Legend) really put in the work to make it good and make people love us and so I feel like now that I’m on my own, I definitely feel like getting the reps and getting that experience on the independents was something that I needed to do and also training-wise. I can train, I can do whatever now. It’s actually crazy and so I’m just finding and doing things that fit me and I feel like it’s always gonna be a growing process. But it’s been a beautiful one to be honest and I’m still finding things out about myself and still growing as we speak.”

Sadè also gave her thoughts about her recently team up with The Hardys in TNA and their Mixed Tag Team match on the September 4th episode of TNA Impact.

“I’m gonna remember that night for the rest of my life. Not a lot of people could say that they teamed with The Hardys… It was just a moment I had to take in and it was awesome because I got to do so in the ring and being with them, definitely like you said, made me rise to the occasion and I just was trying to be a sponge to be honest; in the moment, before and after because that’s a once in a lifetime type moment for me so, I was just listening, I was being present. I’m almost still trying to replay and take it all in because it was an amazing experience and I’m so glad I got to have a moment like that and that’s forever gonna go down in history. Mara Sadè teamed with The Hardys. That’s crazy and even now, I’m still trying to take it all in but, I definitely learned a lot before. Beginning to end, I learned so much from them, and the fact that I’m in the same company still, I can still go to them and pick their brains and there’s so many people in TNA that I can go to and learn from but, to be able to be with them, team up with them, I can’t even — no words can describe. Like you said, they’re legends, and I’m standing with them. I guess that makes me a legend too.”
