Florida Renaming Part Of Pinellas Trail To Honor Hulk Hogan

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that a portion of the Pinellas Trail will officially be renamed to the “Hulk Hogan Trail” in honor of the late WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, real name Terry Bollea.

DeSantis made the announcement during a media event at the Hogan’s Hangout restaurant in Clearwater, Florida. This media event also featured Hulk’s wife Sky, his son Nick, Nick’s wife Tana, and WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart in attendance.

This portion of the trail being renamed is a two-mile stretch located between Oak Avenue and Coronado Drive. This newly renamed portion will be featuring red and yellow signs celebrating Hogan and exercise stations like pull-up bars.

In a speech at the media event, Nick Hogan gave his thoughts about this honor for his late father.

“This is something that my dad would be so, so proud of. Because Clearwater was always home for him. No matter how far he traveled around the world or where his career took him, he always was grounded here. And he loved this community, he loved the people here. So to know that a piece of the Clearwater trail has been dedicated in his honor is something that he would be so, so, so proud of and so happy about.”
