Mercedes Mone’s Opponent Revealed for October 10th BODYSLAM Wrestling Event in Denmark
As noted before, Mercedes Mone is currently scheduled to make an appearance for indies promotion BODYSLAM Wrestling’s event on October 10th in Greve Municipality, Denmark.
BODYSLAM Wrestling provided an update earlier today on Instagram announcing that Mone will be challenging Aliss Ink for the BODYSLAM Women’s Championship at their upcoming event.

Velvet Sky Comments on TNA Hall Of Fame Induction Announcement Was a Surprise to The Beautiful People
A recent episode of WrestlingNews.co’s Velvet Rope with SolCal Val podcast featured Velvet Sky as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Sky’s thoughts about Tommy Dreamer reaching out to her and Angelina Love about a potential appearance at this year’s TNA Bound For Glory event and how he disguised the Hall of Fame announcement from them.
“Tommy Dreamer, he got us good. When he originally reached out and asked, he reached out to both Angelina and I and said that he wanted us to be a part of Bound For Glory this year. To me, it was like a no-brainer, immediately yes because that’s where Angelina and I got our start in TNA so Bound For Glory holds a special place in my life and in my heart because it’s where we started. He told us over the phone what they were looking for her and I to do on the show, come out, talk on the microphone during the girls segment, blah blah blah, hit the music. Play the bird and then leave, like classic. We were like, ‘Yeah, sounds great. Let’s do it.’ Then, he mentioned a meet and greet. We were just excited enough for that. Lowell, they always had the hot crowd. If you remember Lockdown 08, that was in Lowell so that news was exciting just to be a part of it.
Then, I remember Dreamer had asked her and I to do an interview cause they said they were interviewing a bunch of people in the company about the history of Bound For Glory and what it means to you. The way he staged it, it was like a package was going to be put together with a bunch of TNA alumni and current stars, just getting their two cents on how they feel about TNA and Bound For Glory.”
Sky also gave her thoughts about TNA President Carlos Silva joining the call and her and Love’s reaction when they were told they would be getting inducted into TNA’s Hall of Fame for this year’s class.
“We were not expecting it at all. He’s in the middle of question number three and then all of the sudden out of nowhere, Carlos Silva comes on and we still didn’t think anything of it. We’re still just like, ‘Oh, hey Carlos, so nice to meet you.’ He’s just like, ‘Girls, thank you for agreeing to be a part of Bound For Glory, it’s the biggest night. You guys are legends in your own right, we’re happy to have you.’ We’re just telling him that we’re so excited to be there and thank you for having us and then out of the blue he was like, we want you to come and be inducted into the 2025 TNA Hall Of Fame. I immediately just started balling because literally nothing catches me off guard. I can usually sniff anything like that that might be going on anywhere but I was not expecting that at all. Angelina and I, we both just teared up. It was just so exciting, my heart was racing out of excitement. Carlos was thrilled being on the call, ear to ear smiles all around.”

Paul Walter Hauser Comments on Wanting Multi-Promotion “Mega Show” to Counter WWE Saudi WrestleMania
A recent episode of TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast featured actor and indies wrestler Paul Walter Hauser as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Hauser’s thoughts about how he would like to see multiple promotions join forces and hold a “mega show” in the United States to counter WWE’s WrestleMania 43 weekend in Saudi Arabia in 2027.
“You know what I would like to see? WrestleMania weekend in freaking Riyadh or wherever it is — I would love to see MLW, CMLL, New Japan, AEW, PROGRESS Wrestling, Defy, GCW, whoever, come together and do a mega show and sell out a 20,000, 30,000-seat place.”
Hauser also gave his thoughts about the potential obstacles for a “mega show” involving multiple promotions and the big business this potential show could do.
“Just if all egos can go away and people can look less at the hierarchy and more about the value of being for each other and, you know, the enemy of my enemy is my friend — there’s a lot of big business to be done somewhere. You know, go sell out Des Moines, go sell out Chicago, anywhere. It’s all wide open because WrestleMania’s happening in Riyadh or whatever.”
