AJ Styles Reiterates His Decision to Retire From Wrestling in 2026

As noted before, AJ Styles is currently planning to retire from his in-ring wrestling career within the next year.

Friday’s WWE Crown Jewel: Perth Kickoff show featured AJ Styles as a guest. One of the topics discussed included Styles’ thoughts about his decision to retire from his in-ring career at some point in 2026.

“I’m getting old, folks. Listen, if I could find the fountain of youth and take a couple sips, I’d wrestle for the rest of my life, but I am getting older. The fear of embarrassing myself is getting closer. You know what? There comes a time in a man’s life when he has to take care of business, but when business is done, it’s time to take care of his family. I need to spend time with my family.
The whole idea with wrestling and having an amazing future in this business is to be able to retire one day, and in 2026, I will retire.”

Jacy Jayne Suffered Potential Leg Injury at October 9th WWE NXT House Show Event

WWE NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne suffered a potential leg injury at WWE’s NXT house show event on Thursday in Columbus, Ohio.

The injury took place during a tag team match between Fatal Influence (Jayne & Fallon Henley) and ZaRuca (Zaria & Sol Ruca). One person who had attended the event stated that Jayne appeared to have suffered a potential quadriceps injury during the match and tagged out for the finish. This person also stated that the referee threw up the “X” sign which is usually an indication of a legitimate injury in WWE and medical personnel came out to attend to Jayne and helped her to the back after the match.

Corey Graves & Carmella Announce Birth of New Child

WWE commentator Corey Graves and former WWE talent Carmella announced earlier today on Instagram the birth of a new child named Bram Julian Polinsky for their family.

This is Graves and Carmella’s second child together, following the birth of a boy named Dimitri in November of 2023.
