AJ Styles Bids Farewell to Australia for His Wrestling Career
Wednesday’s WWE live event in Melbourne, Australia featured AJ Styles defeating El Grande Americano in a singles match.
Following the match, Styles grabbed a microphone and gave a speech to the live crowd stating his appreciation for Australian fans for the support they have shown to him during his wrestling career and his farewell to Australia since he believes he likely will not be back again for his wrestling career.
“I just want to thank you guys for cheering and being some of the best fans in the world. But here’s the truth: I’m probably not going to see you again in a singlet like this anymore. So I just wanted to let you know, from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much.”
Is this the last we'll see of @AJStylesOrg in Australia? 🥺 pic.twitter.com/h1FDgixwF3

CM Punk recently responded on Instagram calling out fans to stop stalking and harassing WWE wrestlers at airports, hotels, and other public locations. Punk’s comments were made following WWE’s last night of their tour of Australia.
“We unfortunately have to have this conversation again. Do not turn up at airports. Do not show up at hotels. I cannot believe I have to say this. DO NOT FOLLOW PEOPLE. You’ve repeatedly been politely told no, respect it. You are not a fan, you are a stalker and will be treated as such. Respect the boundaries. Stop harassing people.”
