Wyatt Sicks Make Surprise Appearance at AAA Héroes Inmortales 2025

Saturday’s Héroes Inmortales 2025 event for Lucha Libre AAA at the Gimnasio Olímpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City, Mexico featured WWE’s Wyatt Sicks making a surprise appearance.

Following Pagano & Psycho Clown’s victory over Sanson & Forastero in an Open Challenge Street Fight match to retain their AAA World Tag Team Championship, the Wyatt Sicks’ Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, Erick Rowan, and Nikki Cross made a surprise appearance coming out to the ring. The Wyatt Sicks confronted Pagano and Psycho Clown and proceeded to attack them laying both of them out. Rowan grabbed the AAA World Tag Team titles and posed with both titles alongside Gacy and Lumis, who posed with their WWE Tag Team titles, and Cross.


Backstage Update on The Hardys & The Rascalz TNA Contracts Status

As noted before, The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) contracts with TNA Wrestling is believed to be expiring this November. Besides The Hardys, The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) contracts with TNA are set to expire at the end of this year.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources confirmed that Miguel and Wentz’s contracts with TNA are currently set to expire at the end of 2025. Sapp reported that The Rascalz’s Myron Reed has been working without a contract for TNA since this past August.

In regards to the Hardys, Sapp reported that The Hardys’ current contracts are still set to expire this November. TNA officials reportedly want to keep the Hardys under contract for a long time in the company. Sapp also reported that it is currently not known if The Hardys have signed new contracts with TNA but they both will likely get an “insane money” offer from WWE to get them to work at their upcoming WrestleMania 43 event in 2027 in Saudi Arabia.


Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

Lucha wrestler Halloween, former Ciclope in WCW, recently announced on Twitter that he will be undergoing knee surgery this November.

As noted before, YO-HEY has been out of action for Pro Wrestling NOAH since this past September due to a left knee medial meniscus injury. YO-HEY provided an update on Saturday on Twitter stating that he had underwent successful knee surgery.

CMLL reportedly drew an attendance of around 9,000 for their Oct. 17th all-women’s Super Viernes event at the Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Dave Meltzer reported that this was the largest attendance for an all-women’s wrestling event since WWE’s Evolution event in 2018. This event featured Mercedes Mone defending her CMLL Women’s World Championship against Persephone.

Indies wrestler and indies/NJPW/CMLL commentator Veda Scott recently announced that more English commentary will be coming to CMLL events in the future. Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that TNA Wrestling drew an attendance of 7,018 for their Oct. 12th Bound For Glory 2025 event in Lowell, MA based on updated numbers from WrestleTix. Meltzer reported that TNA’s updated number is still lower than their announced attendance of 7,794 and also lower than this past July’s Slammiversary 2025 updated attendance of 7,042 for the record for largest ever attendance for a TNA event in North America.

New Japan Pro Wrestling reportedly drew a paid attendance of 1,056 for their Oct. 23rd Super Junior Tag League 2025 event in Tokyo, Japan, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported in a recent Q&A article that his sources stated provided details on how other promotions are able to use the “Bullet Club” name despite it belonging to NJPW. Sapp reported that NJPW allows other wrestlers and promotions to use the group’s name but wrestling companies can not market the Bullet Club without NJPW’s permission. Sapp also reported that NJPW also currently allows wrestlers and people who have been in the group before some creative liberty to use the name in other promotions. This reportedly was how Jay White was able to use the name Bullet Club Gold for his group in AEW

As noted before, WWE house show event on October 17th in Tokyo, Japan featured Shinsuke Nakamura giving a shoutout to NJPW President and talent Hiroshi Tanahashi following his tag team victory at the show. NJPW recently had discussed Nakamura’s name as a potential final opponent for Tanahashi’s in-ring career but this was as a “pipe dream” and not anything substantial. Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that no deal has been made yet regarding the possibility of Nakamura being Tanahashi’s final opponent. Those spoken to reportedly stated that Nakamura’s contract with WWE does allow to work in Japan for other promotions with WWE’s approval.

The National Wrestling Alliance recently announced that they will be holding a new set of NWA Powerrr tapings on December 13th at the WEDU PBS Studio in Tampa, Florida.

Indies and former AEW talent “Pretty” Peter Avalon recently announced on Threads that he has underwent his second surgery of this year for his knee. Avalon stated “Rotator cuff surgery was April. Meniscus/ACL surgery was Tuesday.

Former WCW and WWE wrestler Marc Mero announced on Twitter that he recently got engaged to his partner Malissa. Mero statedShe said YES! Malissa, from the moment we met, you’ve made my world brighter in ways I didn’t know were possible. You make me feel seen, loved, and better every single day. I’ve thought a lot about this moment because there’s nothing I want more than to spend the rest of my life with you. You’re my best friend, my love, and my future. ~ Marc.

In a recentinterview with the Real Talk with Mike Burke podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg gave his thoughts about his working and personal relationship with the late WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. Goldberg stated “I was pretty close with him. I can’t say we hung out all the time, but he was a huge influence in my life. He taught me stuff that he never had to teach me. He took time with me in situations that he never had to do, and I realize people do it for a certain reason sometimes, but he was a good dude. He always treated me with respect.
