Real Reason for WWE Cryptic Videos Reportedly Revealed [Update]

Fightful Select reported that their sources confirmed that the recent cryptic videos are for WWE’s new promotional campaign for WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Those spoken to reportedly confirmed that Brock Lesnar had flew in private for the filming of the new vignette for WrestleMania 42 at WWE’s headquarters.

As noted before, WWE released three cryptic videos on Sunday and a fourth cryptic video earlier today teasing the arrival or return of a mystery wrestler. Each of the videos featured someone wearing different shoes and the fourth video featured someone wearing blue jeans instead of dress pants. These videos quickly led to online speculation of this being for Gunther, Santos Escobar, Andrade, and/or Brock Lesnar.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that these mystery cryptic videos are not for the return or arrival of someone nor for a new stable but instead is believed to be for a new promotional campaign for next year’s WrestleMania 42 event.

Johnson reported that several major talents were seen filming content at WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut last week. Among those involved were Cody Rhodes, Brock Lesnar, and Roman Reigns.

WrestleVotes reported that their sources also stated that these cryptic videos are for WrestleMania 42 and the full video is currently expected to be revealed sometime later today.
