Stardom talent Momo Watanabe recently announced that she will be taking a hiatus from her wrestling career in order to fully heal up from her current knee injury. Watanabe stated “I’m not crying anymore. I’m strong-willed, and I’m not the kind of person to get discouraged here. I’ll never give up. I won’t give up until I take the belt from Kamitani. I’ve been trying to manage it, but it seems I’ve reached my limit. I’m not at my best right now. That’s why, even though I’ve been giving my all with this knee, I don’t think I can become the strongest until I fix this knee. So I’m going to take a break for a while, and then I’ll come back stronger and definitely take the belt from Kamitani. I’ve decided that now. With H.A.T.E. as it is now, they’ll dominate STARDOM, right? So I’ll leave it to them. I’m going to rest for a bit.”
