As noted before, Ridge Holland, real name Luke Menzies, will be leaving WWE once his contract expires on November 14th due to it not being renewed. Holland has been out of action since this past September due to a lisfranc injury he suffered at a TNA Impact! taping.
Holland provided an update earlier today on Twitter stating that he currently feels that he was “hung out to dry” by WWE over the company letting his contract expire while he is injured. Holland also confirmed that WWE paying for his rehab costs was the bare minimum the company will be doing to help support him.
Holland also stated that due to him not being able to work for the next seven months, he is currently facing the possibility of not being able to pay his mortgage due to his financial situation woes over that period of time.
“I never thought I’d not be able to pay my mortgage.
I feel like I’ve just been hung out to dry after getting injured working for another company on behalf of WWE.
Add to that my contract not being renewed knowing that I wouldn’t be able to wrestle for 7 months. This is brutal.
Yes they are taking care of the surgery and physical therapy but let’s be honest, that’s the bare minimum after what we sacrifice for the company.
Plus the possibility of having to get my neck fused too.
Talk about getting totally fucked.”

Holland had stated in a social media post this past October that his biggest concern was him not being able to support his family of five due to him not being able to work for the next several months.
“WWE are still going to cover my rehab from injury but my guaranteed pay will end, quite frustrating to say the least as I cannot work for another 6 months due to the aforementioned injury, with a family of 5 to support.”
