Drew McIntyre Attacks Ref & Gets Suspended
Friday’s WWE SmackDown show also featured Drew McIntyre getting suspended by SmackDown GM Nick Aldis.
Near the end of the singles match between Cody Rhodes and Aleister Black, both men hit each other at the same time with big boots resulting in them both falling down and the referee starting the count. This led to McIntyre running out from the crowd and laid out the referee with a Claymore Kick resulting in the match being thrown out. McIntyre and Rhodes then brawled leading to Black joining in to help out McIntyre. After some more brawling, Damian Priest ran out to save Rhodes and joined in on the brawl. This led to Zelina getting involved and tried to jump on Priest’s back only for Priest to toss her off. This provided an opening for Black to gouge Priest’s injured eye and give him and Zelina the opening to run away to safety.
