NXT GM Ava Makes Surprise Appearance
Thursday’s live TNA Impact! show at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Orlando featured WWE NXT General Manager Ava making a surprise appearance and NXT liason Arianna Grace makign a surprise return.
During the show, TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella came out to the stage and stated that he brought someone with him. Marella then introduced Ava who came out to the stage. Ava talked about last month’s NXT vs. TNA Showdown show and how TNA and NXT put aside their differences and their partnership will continue. Ava then stated that she can’t be at TNA every week so she brought out someone to keep an eye on TNA in her stead. This led to Grace making her surprise return and giving a brief speech about her being back again in her NXT liaison role.

JDC To Retire from Wrestling Career After TNA Genesis 2026
Thursday’s live TNA Impact! show also featured JDC announcing his upcoming retirement from his wrestling career in 2026.
During the show, The System’s JDC, Alisha Edwards, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, and Moose came out to the ring and talked about their victory over Order 4 at Bound For Glory 2025. This led to JDC grabbing the microphone and stated that he will be retiring from his wrestling career after next year’s Genesis event. JDC continued stating that he is thankful for the last few years he’s spent in TNA and praised the locker room. JDC also stated that this will mean there will be an opening in The System but he will help them figure out who would take his place.

This led to the Rascalz’s music playing to interrupt and Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, & Myron Reed came out. The Rascalz issued a challenge to The System for an 8-Man Tag Team match at Turning Point and promised a fourth member will show up. Wentz teased at this mystery person being the return of Dezmond Xavier (former Wes Lee in WWE).

Mila Moore Vignette Airs
Thursday’s live TNA Impact! show also featured a video airing focusing on Mila Moore and her thoughts about being the newest signee for TNA’s Knockouts division.

NXT Invades TNA Again
Thursday’s live TNA Impact! show also featured several WWE NXT talents invading TNA.
During the TNA World Championship match between Ryan Nemeth and Mike Santana, NXT’s Robert Stone, Brooks Jensen, Lexis King, Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, High Ryze (Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe), and Charlie Dempsey all ran out from the crowd and into the ring. The NXT crew proceeded to beat down Nemeth and Santana leading to The Home Town Man, Trey Miguel, and Steve Maclin running out to try to save Nemeth and Santana to no avail. The NXT crew then continued their attack on Santana leading to them “injuring” his elbow after Jensen placed his arm in a chair and Stone stomped on it. The NXT crew then left the ring pleased with what they had just done to Santana and TNA.

Frankie Kazarian Wins TNA World Title
Thursday’s live TNA Impact! show also featured Frankie Kazarian cashing in his Call Your Shot trophy after attacking Nic Nemeth backstage who tried to cash in the trophy himself.
After the NXT crew had softened up Mike Santana, Kazarian came out with the trophy in his hand and cashed it in for his TNA World title match after some reluctance by the referee.

This match ended with Kazarian roll-up Santana for the pinfall victory to become the new TNA World Champion.
