Stephanie McMahon Comments on She’d “Completely Support’ Future Wrestling Careers for Her Daughters
A recent episode of the What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon podcast featured AJ Lee as the guest. One of the topics discussed included host Stephanie McMahon’s thoughts about her being completely supportive if her daughters wanted to pursue pro wrestling careers in the future.
“Oh, totally. I mean, they would have to work really hard, right? And I think, you know, when you are the child of, you have to earn it more, quite frankly, in order to appreciate the business, appreciate the people in the business. Respect is earned, not given. And you have to earn it every day. And I think it would be harder for them in that respect, but I would completely support it.
We’re a family. And I feel even our fans are a part of this family. And wrestling fans are my people, you know, that’s what I feel like anyway. And I just feel it’s such a special environment of people who, you know, really are down to earth, just have a particular set of values and they know what they believe in. And I just feel very fortunate to be a part of it. And I would definitely encourage my kids if they wanted to be a part of it.”
McMahon also gave her thoughts about how her daughter Aurora had told her when she was younger that she didn’t want her mother’s or father’s job and instead she wanted her grandfather Vince McMahon’s job of running WWE. McMahon also stated how Aurora began to see WWE as less of a viable path for a future career after everything that went down with her grandfather Vince’s alleged sex trafficking and abuse scandal.
“She’s naturally gifted, like in the ring. Nattie used to train her. She did, you know, a long time ago, like, and then everything happened, you know, with my dad and the business and I left.
And I think I don’t realize necessarily the impact that it had, especially on Aurora, but on all of my kids, because Aurora always saw a path forward through the business. And when everything happened suddenly, that wasn’t there anymore. And she had to shift her focus and what she thought she was going to do. And that happens in life anyway. I mean, you constantly change and all of that. But it was a path that she felt suddenly wasn’t there anymore. So who knows? She might find her way back to it. But Charlotte had a couple of matches with her, trained with her. Nattie trained her. And they both said what a natural in the ring she was.”

Bayley Comments on Her Long-term Goal of Opening Wrestling School
A recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show podcast featured Bayley as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Bayley’s thoughts about her upcoming seminar next month and her plans of opening a wrestling school after she retires from her in-ring wrestling career.
“I’ve always pictured myself continuing on with wrestling and wanting to open a school someday and I’ll be running a seminar next month to kind of wet my feet in that stuff.”
Bayley also gave her thoughts about her current plans for projects outside of wrestling.
“Non-wrestling stuff is kind of a little bit harder for me because this is all I’ve ever wanted to do. I’m open to all possibilities. I’m just accepting everything that comes my way.
There’s one thing that I’ve learned recently is to say yes to more things even if it’s just going out and hanging out with people that I normally wouldn’t just because you never know what’s going to happen or who you’ll meet. So I’m just trying to be more open.”
