Statement from Carlos Silva, TNA Wrestling President

Today is a milestone day for TNA Wrestling and truly the next step in our story: Thursday Night iMPACT! will air on AMC, starting January 15, 2026, originating from the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, Texas.
Thanks to all the TNA fans, our staff and dedicated athletes in the ring, plus the Anthem board and investors, as well as our sponsors and partners. 2025 was record breaking …. 2026 will be even bigger on AMC!
In a recent interview with the Busted Open Radio podcast, Silva gave additional comments about TNA’s new TV deal with AMC and how its going to change everything for the company.
“We’ve been working really hard on this for months. We started this journey in March and April, and now, on December 1st and 2nd, we get it done. Super excited about AMC Networks, a foundational network in the USA and cable landscape with so many great shows. They’re leaning into the partnership. It’s going to be awesome.
The talent worked hard and kept the product going. It gave me and the team we put together an opportunity. We had such a great foundation. When I got here, it was the first thing that I said, the foundations…20-plus years with great talent. I’m just happy that the team and everyone were able to get it over the line. It was a team effort. There were ups and downs. Any deal that you do, there are ups and downs, and moments where you say, ‘Oh my goodness, is it slipping through our fingers or not?’ AMC was really excited about it, too. They’re getting into the live sports entertainment business. They’ve always built great characters, we know that. Together, we’re going to give them something every Thursday night, 52 weeks a year, that is so difficult in the entertainment and sports business to do. It’s going to change everything. It’s going to change the way fans get the product, see the product, and I know it’s going to bring that energy to the talent in the ring as well. I’ve seen it even as we’ve filled up these buildings. We’re going to feel that energy from the audience from AMC as well.”
