Updated AEW Continental Classic 2025 Standings & Results

Saturday’s AEW Collision show at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio featured three Continental Classic League matches, all for the Blue League.

The first match was Orange Cassidy defeated Roderick Strong.

The second match was Mascara Dorada defeating Claudio Castagnoli.

The third match was Konosuke Takeshita defeating Jon Moxley.

Darby Allin Pulled & Replaced by Jack Perry for Continental Classic

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured the official announcement of Darby Allin being pulled from the remainder of this year’s Continental Classic tournament due to an injury.

It was announced that Jungle Jack Perry will be replacing Allin for the remainder of Allin’s scheduled group matches for the Blue League and beyond if he advances.


Leila Grey Suffers Potential Knee Injury

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured Leila Grey suffering an apparent knee injury.

During the TBS Championship match between Grey and Mercedes Mone, Grey hit a knee strike to Mone and clutched her leg afterwards. This led to the referee checking on Grey and Mone quickly putting Grey in a Statement Maker afterwards in a likely audible called to end the match.


Swerve Strickland & Hangman Page vs. The Opps in Tornado Tag Match Announced for Dec. 10th AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured one new match announced for the card of next week’s AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming 2025 show on December 10th at the Gateway Center Arena At College Park in College Park, Georgia.

This new match announced was a Tornado Tag Team match of Swerve Strickland & Hangman Adam Page vs. The Opps (Powerhouse Hobbs & Katsuyori Shibata.

This new match was setup following a promo segment involving Swerve Strickland and Josh Alexander ended after Shibata ran out and attacked Strickland from behind laying him out.

Early Start Time for December 13th AEW Collision Winter Is Coming 2025 Show

Saturday’s AEW Collision show also featured the announcement of next week’s Collision Winter Is Coming 2025 show on December 13th will be airing at an earlier than usual start time of 4:30PM EST.

The reason for the earlier than usual start time is due to next week’s show taking place at Utilita Arena Cardiff in Cardiff, Wales and AEW not wanting to go head-to-head against WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event show featuring John Cena’s retirement match that same night.
