Saturday’s AEW Collision Winter Is Coming 2025 show at the Utilita Arena Cardiff in Cardiff, Wales featured two Continental Classic League matches, one for the Gold League and one for the Blue League.

In regards to the Gold League, this match was “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated Kevin Knight.

In regards to the Blue League, this match was Claudio Castagonli drew Konosuke Takeshita via 10-minute time limit draw.

Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Adam Page vs. Samoa Joe for AEW World Title Announced for AEW Worlds End 2025

Saturday’s AEW Collision Winter Is Coming 2025 show also the first of two new matches announced for the card of Worlds End 2025.

This new match announced was an AEW World Championship Three-way match of Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Adam Page vs. Samoa Joe (c).

This new match was initially set over recent weeks shows over Strickland and Page’s bad blood issues with Joe and The Opps. During this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Winter Is Coming show, Page stated in a backstage interview with Renee Paquette that he was coming for Joe and regaining his AEW World title.

Following Strickland’s victory over Josh Alexander in a singles match, Prince Nana handed him a microphone and he talked about how the last time he was in Cardiff, he was the AEW World Champion. Strickland continued stating that he did not come back to face off against the Don Callis Family or The Opps but he came back for the AEW World Title. Strickland stated that Joe’s days are numbered and declared himself the top contender for the AEW World title.

In a follow-up segment, Tony Schiavone announced that a Three-way match for the AEW World title between Strickland, Page, and Joe was made official for Worlds End.


Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander for AEW Women’s World Title Announced for Worlds End 2025

Saturday’s AEW Collision Winter Is Coming 2025 show also featured the second of two new matches announced for the card of Worlds End 2025, which takes place on December 27th at the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois.

This new match announced was an AEW Women’s World Championship match of Jamie Hayter vs. Kris Statlander (c).

This new match was setup following Hayter and Statlander joining forces in recent weeks against the Triangle of Madness. During tonight’s show, Hayter and Statlander defeated the Sisters of Sin in a tag team match and in a follow-up backstage segment, Statlander accepted Hayter’s challenge for her title and stated it would take place at Worlds End. It was announced afterwards that this match was made official for the show.

Saturday’s AEW Collision Winter Is Coming 2025 show also featured AEW National Champion Ricochet, Anthony Bowens, Brody King, Max Caster, Mark Davis, and Shelton Benjamin all officially declaring themselves for this year’s Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal match at next week’s AEW Dynamite and Collision Holiday Bash 2025 show.
