TNA Wrestling reportedly has finalized a number of short-term deals for several talents who had expiring contracts, according to Fightful Select.
It was reported that their sources stated that many of the new short-term deals are for around three months in length.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that TNA talent have preferred these type of deals in order to give them and the company flexibility and keeping their options open for the future. Those spoken to reportedly also stated that the company signing shorter deals for talents gives them more financial flexibility and allows them to bring in talent who are not interested in signing longer-term deals with them.
It was not specified who had signed these new short-term deals but several talents currently have contracts set to expire at the end of this month, including Jake Something, Zachary Wentz, AJ Francis, and Steve Maclin.
