The Rascalz Reportedly Signed AEW Contracts

As noted before, The Rascalz’s Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz contracts with TNA Wrestling was set to expire at the end of 2025. The Rascalz’s Myron Reed had been working without a contract since his return to TNA this past August while Dezmond Xavier also had been working without a contract since his return to TNA this past November.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that AEW recently signed all four members of The Rascalz to official contracts with the company.

It was reported that all four were in attendance backstage at Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage 2026 show in Phoenix, Arizona. A teaser video hyping up the group’s upcoming debut had aired during the show.

It was also reported that all four are currently under multi-year deals with AEW after their contracts with TNA had expired. TNA officials reportedly attempted to retain The Rascalz but AEW came in with a better offer leading to the group signing with them instead.

In regards to Reed’s scheduled match against Leon Slater for the TNA X-Division Championship at TNA’s Impact! AMC premiere show on January 15th, those spoken to confirmed that the match had been pulled from the show earlier this week. Reed reportedly was happy to work the committed date for TNA but the match was canceled due to issues involving either WWE wanting Slater to work their European tour or due to the contract situation.

It was reported that at least one member of The Rascalz was determined to leave TNA once their contract had expired and was not interested in staying.
